Probably because Milan has a balanced scoring load, defenders and midfielders will generally tend to not have as high an xG

The only person who plays regularly for the squad and would be considered clinical is Giroud and he's useless unless the ball is on his left foot

If anything having a lot of scorers will make you underperform on xG because you have a lot of players getting scoring chanches who are not natural finishers.

The title race in Serie A is more intense, but PL has much more quality. Just watch City vs Liver game, no one in Serie A is anywhere close to this level.

City and Liverpool are far ahead of any team in Serie A but after that the quality drops off. Chelsea in Serie A could be the best team in the league by a bit and the rest of the chasing pack Spurs/Arsenal/West Ham/MAn Utd are similar to Serie A’s top teams (Spurs are a machine now under Conte but still)

Serie as does have a problem at the bottom as the bottom 6 teams or so would be rock bottom of EPL. I am not convinced any of these teams would survive relegation in the EPL with their current teams. Udinese is 12th here while their sister club Watford is like 19th and certain to get relegated outside a miracle.

Overall people overstate how “shit” Serie A actually is. For example Atalanta has played the 3rd and 4th strongest Bundesliga teams recently. This is an Atalanta without Zapata and Illicic but still they have matched and even surpassed the 3rd and 4th strongest Bundesliga teams.

A full strength Atalanta is as strong as say West Ham and even went toe to toe with Man Utd when they were in the top 4 of EPL

While I agree with you that our injury record is a joke, injuries during training do happen, and if they are taking precautions so those players will be better off to finish the season, by sacrificing this game, that's fine.

The injury situation needs to be addressed, it holds us back more than anything else. Torino is a tough, tough game, physically punishing, and I do not look forward to seeing Brahim play today.

Both of the teams will win Serie A by like 30pts margin but just because these 2 are too good doesn’t mean there will be drop off in quality after them? Chelsea and Spur will win this league. West Ham, Ars and even ManU will be title contenders easily. They suck because they play in such a hard league like PL.
