I said last season that if Milan was right in the middle of a title race, ibra would will the team to a scudetto. I really don’t know if his body will hold up, but we all know that’s on his mind right now. We could use him for at least five more games

About berardi, it seems mosts concerns stem from him making the jump to a better team. I’m less worried about that and more about his lack of athleticism and how it would translate to piolis team.

He has great numbers and they’ve been good for a long while, his consistency is a lot better off compared to a guy like belotti for example. If Pioli wants to keep emulating the Liverpool and Bayern model we’ll need to keep upgrading the athleticism on the team, the more guys like Theo rebic kessie tonali and leao the better. However, we could have used Berardi for some struggles against low block teams, better than the plug and run options we’ve had. Although a competent CAM would also solve that problem and still let us play a high octane RW…

Also random thought but Berardi could fit us like how Mahrez fits city. And no he is nowhere near that level, I’m comparing their style of play not talent. Before Mahrez went to city he was being heavily linked with Roma, a lot of big teams I think were hesitant to buy a ball heavy winger that’s not super fast. Berardi isn’t lazy and I think he can still do well here, he’s not Suso. Berardi with upgrades in CAM and striker would be more than fine.

Today Salzburg - Benfica 5:0, junior CL semis. 2 goals and backheel assist by Roko Simic, 18 years old. Many people in Croatia have big hopes for him. Son of our Dario Simic. Simic works for Milan still. Keep an eye on that boy, coz soon you will hear his name in Salzburg and then... who knows.

What position does he play mostly?

What type of player?

If Rebic is really on his way out the door, I wonder if management would look to bring in Adam Hlozek. We've been linked to him in the past and he can play LW and CF. He has some experience everywhere in the positions upfront.

Usually kids of great players don't have good careers. But Simic was never a great player, good and reliable yes. Only player that I can think of who surpassed his father is Chiesa.
Cruyff son ,Kluivert son, Zidane sons all avarage careers. Daniel could have ok career, he must move from Milan tho ,loan is a must for him ,i hope Paolo understand this. Paolo at 17-18 already was regular in first team unbelievable talent he was.

I'm sorry but our striker is not going to be 'bravo Ante bravo Ante' first and foremost unless it's Belotti and even then he would disappoint you.

Our best pressing was with Rebic and Saelemaekers on the wings and even then Pioli dropped Rebic for Leao.
The striker will need to press but not be a mad man.

We chose Ibra then Giroud and Pellegri then Lazetic - none of those match what you say we should be after.
I agree that our best pressing was with Rebic and Alexis, but that worked because our striker was absolutely clinical. Ibra's scoring rate was absurd. In the absence of a generational player who is scoring at his best clip in his career I think we're better suited to find a CF who can lead the press and allow the goalscoring to be more of a team effort.

If you pick any random person on the planet, the probability of his son becoming a football star is pretty low. The probability of a top football player's son becoming a football star is still somewhat higher than that!

I'd be happy with berardi at this stage. Our RW is that bad.

Berardi is pretty good, just wouldn't pay top dollar for him. Anything above 25M then forget it

He runs for 90 min bro...

This guys has very good vision. Last season has plenty assist and secondary he helps in defensive phase. He is very active striker who can play once right wing and left wing. He can be everywhere. He should be perfect useful forward for Pioli tactics.
I'll have to take RnB's word for it. I haven't watched enough of him. From what I have seen, he seems "heavy" when he runs, but he does appear to have a great workrate. I prefer a player who can run into channels on the left or right and allow Theo/Leao or the RW to go centrally in fast direct moves.

Yes. Need a lot of time and sacrifices from fathers. Khabib father made Khabib a monster for example, but natural talent was there all the time,it's like shaping rough diamond.
Dell Curry made Steph best 3point shooter ever in NBA ,but Steph had natural talent, Seth is good player but nowhere near the levels of his brother.

Watch more - he does this constantly.
I think he drifts more left than right but he does it very much. He has been an outlet for his team vs superior opposition and not a tentpole like Giroud or an aircraft carrier like Ibra.

Hey buddy, jokes aside, did you watch Fever Pitch on Amazon? It’s about the rise of the Premier League in the 90s. Lots of focus on United. Actually, a pretty good watch, and I don’t like English football at all. Three episodes. Worth it.
No thanks :D

There's the random player that none of us thought about who is probably better than all the targets we youtube scouted.
Watch his two games against juventus 2 years ago. I do not know how he progressed since then but you could see he was something.

Kakkarot (Caqueret?) always seemed underwhelming in his on the ball skills, he's similar to Sassuolo's Maxime Lopez but a bit more defensive. Small, quick in small spaces. I could see him as a ball winner/recycler the way Kessie plays in this system, but obviously with a 10th of Frank's strength.

My pick is Enzo Le Fee, great freekick delivery, press-resistant, ambipedal version of Bennacer #JawzScouting
