Also, AM is a tricky position and a young talent might need a few seasons to adapt (like Leao) whereas Nkunku would be able to hit the ground running. Therefore, given his productivity, characteristics and contract situation, it would be a shrewd investment.

I think we have examples in our own team other than Brahim. I don't think Nkunku is worth that kind of money, either, the kid doesn't even play AM. He's a SS.

I’m talking about YOUNG players specifically where it’s extremely difficult to find somebody who can hit the ground running in terms of goals/assists hence the Saele, Brahim + Leao examples. Therefore, I’d rather pay a premium for the finished article like Nkunku who is bound to appreciate in value given his huge potential.
