Wait, what was wrong with the way we won it now?

I’m way more confident winning it this season than I was last year. That’s the whole point of the plan. Every year you get better because you’re constantly building towards a target (CL win).

A hollow victory? Seriously? We won with 86 points what the fuck are you talking about! At the start of the season everyone was saying how this will be the most competitive Serie A in a decade. The revisionist takes belittling our win are beyond pathetic. I don’t understand how a Milan can say this.

Pessimists were shoehorning for an entire season that with Elliott in charge we are never going to win shit. An entire season. And now they are telling me after barely one month to stop it already to celebrate our first Scudetto in 11 years. Gimme a fucking break :fp:

It worries me that all our rivals are strengthening their teams, while we, on the other hand, are low-balling all transfers.

Hopefully, CDK is ours this week, however, we need to strengthen the squad even further if we want the 20th star. Kessie and Romagnoli holes must be filled out, and the RW problem needs to be solved immediately.

Lazio, Roma, Juve and Inter all have far better squads than last year.

I haven't looked too much into Lazio. But Juve just lost Chiellini and De Ligt. Chiesa only god knows if he's still a professional football player. They lost Dybala who many here think is a star player we shouldn't have missed out.

Inter lost Perisic and are about to loose Skriniar (is it official yet?), their two MVPs of last season. And they still need to sell one between Sanchez, Correa and Dzeko to balance the books.

Roma lost Mkhitaryan and Oliveira.

To me it looks like all our rivals are doing rather lateral moves between players who left and players who arrived than actual improvements. At least so far. Mercato is open until 1st of September. But as of today, I don't see one of them much improved TBH.

lets say i agree with you,but losing all targets isnt good if and only if you want to go back to place where Milan deserves.
botman for 40 mil is just stupid and i am glad they didnt do that but enzo to benfica or renato to psg(if he goes there ) for 10-15 mil is just crazy.

This Renato saga is strange. First it looked like the deal was all but done. Then they said PSG with Galtier and Campos showed up and now he's a PSG player. That was 4 weeks ago. Since then nothing happened. I don't know if Renato is waiting for PSG to finally transmit an official offer to Lille or for us to raise our wage offer since PSG is offering him more but he'd actually prefer to come to us.

Either way, my enthusiasm for Renato is nearing 0. Maldini doesn't beg players to play for us. Players should beg to Maldini to play for Milan. If they think they are better off somewhere else, fine. We move on.

We will not have transfers, but we have Maldini sending police after Bakayoko.

...least we know the reason why Samu finally left :lol::lol:
Its just our management paving the way for future generations..either play srs calcio or get sent to gulag

Watching Merda lose all their transfer targets to other teams before they can even sell enough players to raise the funds to act is pretty funny.

I can't wait to see what the high-praised Marotta manages to do once that happens. How many backup plans does he have after that.

If Juve snatches Bremer, I wonder who merdas will go for. They need to end the mercato with a bag of cash so keeping Skriniar and calling it a day isnt an option

Merda probably couldn’t shift their fodder that’s prob why Dybala ended up at Roma-the high earners wouldn’t budge

Eventhough I have my reservations for Dybala, I'm still very sceptical that missing out on Dybala on a permanent base was worth that one year of borrowing Lukkaku from Chelsea instead.

They probably would've gone after Dybala but the whole Sanchez situation fucked them up badly..he's refusing to leave even with them offering him 4mil to terminate the contract

Bremer at Inter would have been scary. In a back four at Juve it’s a much bigger risk.

Dybala at inter with Lautaro or even Lukaku in a 352 would have been very interesting. At Roma he’s mostly a non-entity, I don’t think Roma will be challenging us for the title next year so I’m not worried about what they’re doing.

Well I mean.... if he doesn't leave, he earns 7M. Simple maths really.
His next contract will probably be back to his hometown in Chile or something.
So why not take another year long paid vacation on Merda's bench.

Our team isn’t like any other serie a team, yes we need players but there isn’t a persisting need to buy right away.

I’m going to leave the insider persona aside and get serious in this post.

If you trust maldini then we are really 2/3 top signings away from competing with the top dogs in Europe and open a winning cycle.

Just last week pioli said we are going to win a consecutive scudetto next season. Scaroni said that we are doing a great thing that will kick off in the next two weeks.

The only team that is doing a good mercato this window is lazio, but they are still lazio and yes they will play good football but that’s about it.

In football we have witnessed that come backs are disappointing, even for Ibra we didn’t get the player that left us but a father figure for younger players, on the field he played 3-4 vintage games and that’s about it.

Dybala to Roma is a best case for a semi retired player and every club approached him was pushed away by his demand based on the risk his physical state represents.

Juventus reminds me of Leonardo’s Milan, but the later had bigger names but they were not enough to win or compete on a title. I do not believe in their project. Pogba and di Maria are past it and won’t make a visible difference. Just look at their defence.

Inter still have a very strong squad but inzaghi is never a winning coach plus there will be a lot of drama for playing minutes and they are short on defence.

Now to go back at us, there are many opportunities on the market and the more you wait the more you knock down asking price & salary demands. I believe the Renato case is somehow connected to Leao renewal and a player menedes is pushing Milan to sign. We will see how it will end up.

It will be nice to sign rw/cam player asap for a better integration but even if sign him in the last week of the market it will not be the end of the world.

Other targets will be brought for cover, we currently have 9 out of 11 starters for next season and we are only look for 2 starting players.

Will it be Ziyech & cdk or cdk & Sanches? This will force pioli to go from 4231 to 433 but that’ll be after the first international break.

Yeah but we dont really need him cuz we already have the best defense in the league plus he's a 3guy defender anyway.

Constantly surprised at how people still think they know better than the management team that won us a scudetto ahead of schedule with a team built on youth and ideas while reducing our squad costs almost by half in three years.

It’s still July. The market is still open all of August. There’s more than enough time to complete the squad. There will be opportunities at the end of the market. We will have with CDK enough time to have a good preseason with a group to start the season with. It would have been great to finish all the work early but that didn’t happen. I’ll be very surprised if we just get CDK and Tanganaga and call it a day.

Maldini held a gun to the owners head and refused to sign until hours before his contract expired for a reason. He will have gotten some concessions and he demanded 3 big players to compete in the CL. We will get them eventually, but Maldini is patient. Let’s wait until September 1st before we all start acting like we know better than the people who everyone in Europe is admiring and trying to emulate.

brk be like...

I've already watched our goals against Köln a hundred times, so beautiful, cures every stress. Especially that first goal, something like that against inter, would be glorious.
Also the body cam view is weird and funny at the same time. Made me think, I would've liked to see a body cam on De Vrij in the derby (Giroud 2nd goal), oh that would've been a lot of fun.

Or management decided to get a 4th cb and push kalulu for a starting spot.

Kalulu - tomori partnership won us the league and suffocated opponents in the hardest stretch of last games.

FYI, we destroyed Roma with this starting 11.

I woulda loved to have Botman so we could also play Lulu on the RB, but since we dont seem to have too high of a budget its cool to loan a younger like like we will and spend more on offense.
