If we dont want to buy players. Loan them.

We need that extra push. Team looks seriously deflated.

there are still lots of people who have or do not have the means to travel and they still haven't because being a milanista is something that's in your heart
Agreed, but that's not you.

On the whole I consider you a forum friend, but I never shy away from shitting on you if you're shitting on me.

The players teams want to loan out are either having a fall out (potential character issues), failed talent (Dest), or unproven talents (Vranckx).

We've all seen how this story plays out. The team struggles, they go into ritiro, they'll scrap a win out and everyone pretends like it's fine until we start the cycle of mediocrity all over again.

Would have felt so much better if we didn't renew Pioli.

That way Pioli wouldn't feel so complacent and we'd still have hope for a refresh (without financial repercussions) in the summer.

In front of me I have two choices, mentally.

1. Join the choir of mercato signings. We need this and that, I just described in the match thread what those preferred signings are. Will they materialize? No.
2. Accept that this squad is what we're having to contend with, and believe first and foremost in our known performers. During a good spell our depth players will join in as well.

Two minds at once. Pioli is for fucking sure staying in place. The worst thing in the world after ownership changes are coach changes. And I think that is miles off.

Be careful with people's feelings man. You've hurt my feelings so many times. How do you live with yourself I sometimes ask myself

Top 4 at high risk. This season could be total failure. Whatever happens next season new coach is needed and a lot of new quality signings.

The fact Singer was at the game tells you all you need to know about how the sale went down. Elliott finds a way to get these con artists to work in their favor. First Li now Gerry .
I've said it from day one. Vulture funds prey on the weak and that's why they chose to "sell" to Gerry. Investcorp had the cash in hand. Fuck Elliot and their double-dipping greedy ass.

If we miss it Pioli needs to be fired. Dude wants some city, bayern ball when he doesnt have players. Every game we re overrun in midfield, he doesnt do shit. Diaz doesnt justify formation.

Maldini and Masara should be questioned. Last 2 mercatos we spent what 80M and we re worse actually. No new player established themself or aint playing. They have more flops and missed chanced than good buys.

This tactic with 2 defensive midfielders just dont work anymore, last season we had Kessie who run a lot and closing the gaps.
When Inter counters its like 3 midfielders from inter +2 wingbacks against Bennacer and Tonali.
Tomori or Kalulu steps out, then its almost a goal

Total rubbish, if you can get a better manager do so, why see out this shit show. He will never take us higher. Be ready for further shit show games if you think this the way to go.

Pioli is also stupid for not playing the new additions more. At least he would give himself an excuse, "see the guys you brought in aren't that good".

He's stubborn with his formation, tactics and player selection.

Try a 4-3-3. What's the worst that could happen at this point?

Why see out this shit show?

Because you are gambling some other guy is going to be able to come in and clean up this mess immediately. Don’t forget, Pioli was a “try before you commit” manager as well so I doubt that we are all of a sudden looking to pay much higher wages on top of Pioli’s severance if we are still top 4.

Doesn’t look like Elliot’s style, and as of now we can only guess that Red Bird will continue to operate in a similar manner

Even if we don't miss top4 ,new coach is needed. These are Piolis limits .Thanks for scudetto .
Maldini shouldn't have continued with Gerry, he got in the mud now. De Ketelere is a expansive flop so far ,but we should give him one more year to prove himself.

Far too many posters here perceive football as a video game controlled by a single player (coach). You folks heavily overestimate the role of a coach in football. How a team performs on the pitch depends on so many things, a small fraction of which can be attributed to the coach's abilities.

I think Pioli received too much praise when we won the league. He basically was reaping the rewards of the work done by Rino before him, and the natural progression of our young players, as well as chemistry development among them, which takes time.

Similarly, he is receiving too much criticism now for something that is beyond a coach's control.

In both cases, praisers and critiques are overreacting.

Please don't get me wrong. I am not saying coaches should never be criticized. They should. But in case of Pioli, he is not our biggest problem at the moment. I think we eventually need to upgrade over him. But before that, we need to resolve more important issues.

Even if we assume that Pioli is the biggest issue, we cannot afford to get a better coach. The club doesn't have money to even get a decent goalie. How can we pay for a top coach? So, please stop bitching and support your club. Fan support is crucial at this difficult moment.

We don’t have a legit DM who can shield the defense.

Play Bennacer there you are risking rash tackles and dumb passes putting more pressure on our fragile defense (made out of popsicle sticks according to paramount guy).

Tonali would be wasting all of his skill sets going forward and definitely isn’t that player either.

I am against “trying” inexperienced players like Pobega or Vranckx at that position unless you are a mid table side with nothing to lose.

So to answer your questions, we’d probably concede more dumb goals if we played with 3 midfielders while looking even more lackluster on offense

What work from Gattuso ? Pioli replaced Giampaolo . Absolutely Pioli must be criticized ,last year scudetto is in the past now. We are playing like shit. Fans will always support the club no meter what ,but it's counterproductive to turn blind eye to this.

I liked the ending. Say, you mind being on staff of @IL-Capitano...
