I don't see how harassing kebab, feeling humiliated like you said earlier, and being emotional for a week equates to care. If you are here exaggerating your emotional response then you are being dishonest. If you are truthful in your response then you lack control over your emotions and imo behave like a child. I remain calm because I understand any personal emotional response comes from within, and nothing outside of my control can create feelings of humiliation, sadness, disappointment , etc. It's a personal choice to feel those ways.
It's a good day to chat about this because it's the anniversary of great importance in my life. 5 years ago today I did cpr on my mother. And calmness allowed decisions to be made that gave her another chance at life. Though ultimately after 12 more days God decided to have her as his own. Now I had been depressed prior to the event but this was understandably a major kick in the nuts from life leading to very deep depression, but here's the major lesson. Her death didn't give me depression. Nothing can give me depression.
I created the depression I felt and once that was understood then and only then depression was able to be conquered. I wake up with joy in my heart for over 2 years now.
So why would my team losing ever move me in such a dramatic way? Why give something out of your control dominion over how you feel? There's no such nonsense as overly calm. Calmness is water to intensity's fire. The lack of calmness to me is lack of maturity. We lost a game of soccer and have another chance to make it right. You think it's better for the team to be controlled and calm in their approach or filled with wild emotions? Which allows good decisions to be made?
So stop being a pussy.
And wish your mother a happy mother's day tomorrow and do something special for her.
