i love leao. he's probably the most exciting of the group in terms of character and charisma... but not him nor any of the others have that air of invincibility.

Ibra at Leao’s age scored the exact same amount of goals as Leao this season on a team that was paying referees to influence results in their favour.

I take your point on Ronaldo and Messi though - but they are simply in a different stratosphere to anybody else (Mbappe and Haaland included).

I'm sorry, but you've obviously never seen Keane play football if you believe he was untalented. Yes, he could be a dirty bastard on the pitch but it's a misconception that some people think he was just about rough tackles. One of the best midfielders of his generation and an incredible leader. I'd give anything to have a Roy Keane in our current midfield.

I would take him in our team but I just don't find him skilled. He is not the type of player I rate highly. Toure is aeons ahead of him for instance.

He is a very good epl player. Good defensively. Guys him, Becks, Rudd are wildly overrated by English fans.

They are no where near as talented as any of the real greats.

It’s a shame that his big break will come with Tottenham. There’s no way that they will equip him with what he needs - and Harry Kane likely going to Madrid won’t help the situation.

50m is NOT a problem providing we actually SELL some players and operate wisely on the free agent market which didn't happen last summer. Gabbia, Messias, Rebic + Origi contribute fuck all and can fetch 20m combined plus Spezia and Monza both survived relegation so we can expect to collect another c.10m from the permanent sales of Caldara + Pessina. That leaves us c.80m to play with and IF we do manage to land Kamada AND Gundogan/Tielemans for free, that's plenty of money to sign a new AM, RW + CF. There are also wage savings from outgoing players like Dest, Baka, Ibra + Vranckx (15m combined) which can beef up the transfer kitty further.

However, M&M have to be BOLD and sell the useless players and NOT be tempted to waste money redeeming ineffectual players like Brahim + Vranckx.

It was more because he had won the league in Japan the season before he joined Celtic - then brought over the league’s best guys since the leagues were at a similar level

To be fair there is not one guy on that Celtic squad that would get anywhere near Milan or Tottenham

You're right...I had a quick look at the table and saw they were 17th but didn't realise they needed to play Verona in a relegation play-off. Regardless, I'm sure there are plenty of other fodder clubs who'd happily pay just 2-3m for a Serie A proven CB like Caldara.

Also, FUCK Gabbia. I'm sure we can find at least one decent youngster in the Primavera who can sit on the bench the entire season and contribute nothing like him just to satisfy the CL list.
