That 16 paragraph post justifying the decision to blow our transfer budget on CDK. I only made it through 3 paragraphs but my god the hoops you salty ‘Dini boys will jump through.

I think my favorite thing from the people weeping over Maldini (he’s fine, he’s back to traveling and partying) recently is “HE GOT US A SCUDETTO AND CL SF ON A LIMITED BUDGET!”

And at the same time:

This stupid bald fuck fell into a Scudetto and a CL SF! He can’t even teach basic passing and attacking patterns!!!

Can you guys see the… contradiction?

Maldini and Pioli BOTH did a wonderful job OVERALL working with extremely limited resources. Ultimately, when there was a change in ownership, though, one of them was willing to work under the parameters set by the new owners and the other wasn’t.

But you can’t have it both ways, man. Pioli turned Milan around relying on players like 40 year old Ibra and 36+ Giroud… Having to start guys like Sael and Messias, he turned guys like Tomori and Kalulu into the best CB partnership in Italy during the Scudetto season, he reached a CL SF after demolishing one of the 3 best teams in Europe last season… and he started Brahim Diaz and Sael in those matches. He had literally no defensive midfielder for his preferred 4231…

We didn’t replace KESSIE for fuck’s sake.

We never replaced Hakan… Did you guys see Adli against Juventus a couple of nights ago? He was TERRIBLE and I love the skinny French goon more than even Sam. Did you guys see CDK?!? Of course not, because he was hiding on the pitch avoiding the ball and getting schooled by Juventus teenagers that look like stereotypical caricatures of Italians.

And where does Juventus always get these Italian Minecraft looking goons anyway?

I’m rambling
People criticising Pioli make me laugh.

What more do they want from a manager who has been given scraps to work with. He's barely had a starting XI.

Giroud and Ibra leading our attack at their ages lol.

Even if he didn't win the scudetto I would still be backing Padre as he got us 3 straight UCL finishes.

Pioli is the best thing to have happened to Milan since Sacchi 🙂

Also what everybody is expecting here . Out of nowhere young , talented , relatively cheap , perspective player .
I think for 20m you can get a more proven player
I would be ok with Musah if we got a good DM instead of RLC
I have doubts about RLC and Musah, think we could do better in midfield department for this money

Per 90 stats over whole career, so not super exact but I think relevant enough:

Progressive carries per 90min

Samardzic 1,71
vs
RLC 3.75
Musah 3.20
Reijnders 2.66

Not saying that that makes him a bad player but it is obviously a core metric for us.
I'm really surprised because Inter doesn't really need him and he won't be a starter, maybe neither do we because he's a CAM in a 4-2-3-1.

Pioli did an extremely poor job last year. I don't understand how you have the zeal to castigate Maldini and champion corporate efficiency, when last year Pioli's worst performances were against bottom half sides, where the argument over the quality of his squad shouldn't be at issue--because he dropped points and lost to... relegation teams.

Pioli has genuine questions over his vision and managerial credentials, I don't understand why you are so adamant in waving those away.
Boo hoo Pioli lost to some minnows.

Brentford did the double over City. Does that mean Peps not a good manager.

This is football. Its why we love the sport. Nobody is guaranteed a point or three.

Maybe he made that up by doing well against bigger teams like Napoli and Juve? Last year only Napoli were far ahead in points to the other teams.

Milan had very similar number of points to Juve, Inter, and Lazio. So just a few points separating these teams which isn't statistically significant and can be put down on luck, referee errors,..etc...

I'm not saying that Pioli didn't fuck up multiple time throughout the season. At the same time, just looking at the numbers only Napoli were much better.

So an owner that values data highly and looks mainly at the numbers wouldn't see last season by Pioli as a screw up....
It's essential that we do better against low block teams, can't lose points to them.

Yeah, that should be amazing. Who you got?
Tough question but I back Errol because he’s naturally the bigger guy, been at 147 longer plus he has the better resume at the weight class (Crawford beat Porter + Brook AFTER Spence broke them). Also, Crawford was dropped by the Lithuanian dude which was incorrectly not ruled a knockdown plus he did the stanky leg against Gamboa. However, I’ve never seen Spence in trouble.

Having said that, Crawford is a master boxer who can switch-hit so I wouldn’t be surprised if he won either

11/10 fight.

Suma released a video talking about the feasibility of a Kessie return
I would be for this. But I've never seen a player or manager return to Milan and do better or even equal their past performances.

Gullit
Capello (said it was the worse decision he made)
Sacchi
Kaka

By the way RLC on 4m net
If he flops it will be as hard to move him as Origi
That’s my no.1 concern in addition to his lack of regular minutes since his career began but hopefully he likes the desert.

Perfect 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 some people here praising maldini for title and cl semifinal but they are criticizing pioli. We had big 3 obvious holes for 2 years which is not clear in any other team so much. If for example inter want to improve the team they should decide , they will get some pluses coming with some minuses because when you improve something you can damage another part.

-We were not like that. pioli got us scudetto with no amc , no rw and 36 year old 1 striker helped by 40 years old mostly injured player. We had 3 big holes we lost Hakan and we didn’t replace them. Even a mediocre player would improve that areas but we redeemed messias , we bought maybe the biggest flop of the europe who doesn’t seem like a footballer
-also same people criticized pioli for playing cdk in the wrong position😂😂😂😂😂😂😂) he is not a footballer , he has the lowest confidence in any people I have ever seen , he can hide behind a 10 year old kid not to take ball and people criticized pioli
-people criticized pioli for not giving a chance to a player who at most played half of the games in last 10 big games for a relegation team . He had some sparks but he was definitely not an indispensable player for Ligue 1’s worst team and people criticized pioli for not giving a chance for scudetto winners
-maldini didn’t fix a single point in last 2 years no amc , no rw , no st then lost kessie no replacement and people still defending him.
-pioli last year played with a 37 year old striker with no backup, no rw, no defensive midfielder, no creative player and people criticized him😂😂
-money never was a problem. We spent 50 m euro. We could sell someone to generate transfer funds like we did this year and make it over 100 m euro. But maldini beside selling any player he couldn’t even let messias , Diaz type mediocre players go.
-this year we let tonali go and we bought so many players who are exact fixes to our holes. We got 3 rw’s chukwu , pulusic , Romero all of them talented. We have 3 lw leao , okafor, pulusic, we have okafor as backup st and looking for 1 more. We sold tonali from midfield and we bought 3 new ones reijnders, rlc, musah. This is how you do business. This is the sporting director
-maldini definetely a club legend but he seems like a lazy handsome sporting director whose brand name is so much bigger than his production. He had terrible 2 years and he deserved to be sacked. Maybe the process could be more fashionable and be worthy to a club legend like maldini but we know maldini has a huge ego and we don’t know the process behind them.
- now we have a sporting director. He succeeds or fails but at least they know the holes and they try to fix it which we don’t have for last 2 years

I noticed this too about cdk. Many matches he played I would not have known he was on the field if I hadn't checked the teamsheet.

Talk about stealing a living

I love these midfielders but if we should field 3 of them at all times and rotate.

One thing the new management have solved is lack of midfield depth which we faced against inter.

All the physical profiles are amazing. I just want somebody to have a long ball from the back. Hope thiaw works on it.
Musah, deer, cheeks, pulisic can play multiple positions at a time.

If chuck is the RW we needed for years and Noah drop deep and run then we are kosher but too many fine pieces for Alcholic like pioli.

So let Theo and Leao cook. Score 90+ equalize and get cl spot. Hope agnelli cooks the book and caught again.

Rcm needs to be very disciplined if our RW is an attacking one. I don’t think any dm can cover for Theo, reckless defense and vacant gap infront of Calabria which Saele used to cover.

Maldini, Gattuso, Kaka, Pato,
Epl teams will be gunning for him.
In this season no one was gunning for him.
Rest of our player probably will rise their value, but I think we have paid for them to much money. Few of them had one year contract left........., but maube Pioli wantz more ready squad.
