There's still hope we get Ouedraogo, he hasn't signed with anyone yet. He's one for the future. With Krunic seemingly discarded, we are short especially if both Adli and Bennacer leave for AFCON.

Looks like we have huge holes in defense because of the injury crisis, in midfield now because of AFCON and Pobega, and up front because of Giroud and Jovic.

There's a risk we might overdo it and bloat the squad again.

I guess Pobega injury complicated things. The point is we don't have time to bring in new MF, and get him into team schemes on time. Zeroli and Eletu could be integrated, we have 5 games during AFCON of which Roma and Atalanta, we can potentially manage if no more injuries pile up.

Krunic will be gone in the winter or else in the summer. Kjaer is expiring. That's one or more of each division already not staying. Adli probably isn't staying either. There's a minute chance that even Giroud might not be renewed.

The problem is we have quite a few on loan already and not expected to be redeemed. Saelemaekers might stay at Bologna, but Origi is definitely coming back. CDK could go either way. Then some others like FBT, Colombo, Lazetic, Maldini, who are relatively easy to move on. I think Messias has an obligation, not sure.

Guirassy seems like an opportunity this winter if it's true we have extensive data on him beyond just this season. Miranda is a great LB rotational option to keep Theo on his toes. Not sure who they're targeting for the midfield but a loan seems the best option, same for CB seems like the best option. We have Tomori, Thiaw and Kalulu as long term options and it's better to keep our commitment low on this one.
