he was only here for one season on loan. he didn't score 24 goals in the league but he was instrumental in the CL.. he wasn't just a poacher, he added more to our play than pippo and that's why he was the preferred option alongside Sheva + Kaka.. he did really well with us.. well enough that chelsea didn't allow him to return to us next season... sheva ended up winning the balon d'Or though following our run in the CL... just because hernan wasn't our best striker doesn't mean he didn't do quite well for us..
