Yeah same.3 Body Problem my low-key favoriteobjectively nowhere near Shogun, but I've binged the shit out of it nonetheless and bought the books right after Season 1. I don't know. The genre and the themes totally resonated with me.
I think it's a show that deserves to be taken seriously. Wonderful actors, production and a "sci-fi" plot that hits close to home. Especially after that guy gave some unnerving answers in front of Congress

I loved it.
It felt a bit like when I watched Westworld season 1. I completely lost that show after the first season, they made a grave mistake trying to build further. Still... The way a show can just burst through the exact same walls of understanding you were struggling with yourself at the time. Not that 3 Body Problem is anything other than a fantasy, but I love how sophisticated the attempt is. The nano-cutting of that cargo ship in the Panama canal? Show me a scene throughout 2024 that tops that.
