@Master Smurf your time is here :proud:

That should be doable.

5mill to try and hopefully he gets to play week in week out at striker. I will take it.

If he fails he fails, if he works out then 45 is much less than 70+ but that price may guarantee a sale of one of those left sided players.
My favourite perfect striker few years ago. Give me more news.

Fonseca gone, not too surprising. I dont think he had the worst half season, and there were always valid excuses at play imo but its just the nature of the game. I thought he was principled but it obviously cost him. Its okay calling out a player sometimes, but you bench Leao, Theo, Tomori, and Calabria, all players with the most appearances on the team, you will end up dropping points. Then they all want to leave as well, so it becomes about minimizing risk.

At the end of the day we never really got humiliated with Fonseca, and still managed to beat Inter and Madrid. Im not mad about his tenure, but this is just the normal progression.

Let’s see this winter. I would like to see less games with Chukweze, Musah, and Terraciano on the field. Conceicao on that contract, seems like cannon fodder. Maybe Cardinale will think about pulling out this summer. Intuitively from the management side, more than anyone else, I wouldnt want Moncada to leave.

Being positive, as much as I don't like his character he actually looks like a proper coach and has the aura of it, hopefully the players buy into it. Will see how we look in a couple of months.
Fonz literally had the same videos during pre season as he instructed CB'S how to defend closely and everybody here was hyped he'll lock our defence

Fonseca was chosen by the management for a job he clearly wasn’t qualified for and wasn’t backed by them when things went south. They didn’t address the media, they didn’t respect the coach enough or stood by him.

He clearly wanted Saele to stay but they got rid of him too.

Pioli had a 100m transfer dedicated to him last season and rumours has it that he had decent input on it. He wasn’t shafted or disrespected like Fonsenca was. The management loved Pioli.

Secondly, Giroud? Giroud who is clearly a lot better then Morata or Tammy at the moment lmao. The management bought him a fodder CB in Pavlovic and a shitty RB in Emerson.

They literally got rid of Adli and made Fonseca have just 4 midfielders 😂 cause the 5th one is in the hospital all the time and is finished.

He has had to deal with entitled primadonnas in the squad who didn’t put in the effort required. I don’t give a fuck if Fonseca is a no name coach that doesn’t command respect, people pay their tickets for these players to perform and put in effort, so these primadonnas owe it to us to put in effort to perform for the fans. But they didn’t, they didn’t care.

Lastly, the decision to sack him was made days ago yet they allowed him to manage the match against Roma and leaked the news that he got sacked during the fucking game and allowed him to attend a PC where he had no idea he got fired yet the journalist knew that he got fired. How the flying fuck do you allow everyone else including journalists that he got fired and not Fonseca first? And then expose him on that humiliating manner in the PC where he finds out he got sacked by them!!!

That’s fucking embarrassing and humiliating.

So YES I very much feel pity for Fonseca, he was treated poorly by the management in every levels and these cunt of players also made his job hell.

I’m glad he’s finally gone, not just b/c he didn’t fit in the club but I’m glad he’s gone for his sake, he didn’t have a good time and was treated badly.
They backed him and every one of his shitty decisions. When he benched Leao he was supported, when he benched Theo he was supported. When he went on a rant about players with no heart etc, they supported him.

Primadonnas. God forbid a big club has big egos. It’s his fucking job to put that in check. That’s what managing a big club is all about. He had issues with fucking Florenzi and Dzeko at Roma. Cried at Porto to resign cause the players didn’t respect him. Do you see a pattern. He must go to a small club cause that’s where he belongs, Ancelotti isn’t a tactical genius but has had success at big clubs because he knows how to manage egos for the most part and even then at Bayern he had a falling out. Player power at big clubs is real cause Leao and Theo is worth way more than Fonseca. But that is part of his job. Imagine hiring a manager and saying well he can’t man manage let’s replace the squad. wtf we hire you for? Pioli never fell out with any player because tactically he is shit but he is a great man manager if nothing else. And because of that with his tactical ineptness he was still able to get result.

I don’t care about who is in charge at Milan. But any coach should know coming to Milan is more than just saying I want to play 4-3-3 with a Pep Guardiola style, high press etc. it’s managing the board, the fans, and players. That’s what it takes to be a coach at a top club. Imagine we must coddle someone who can’t manage players like he isn’t getting Millions to do that.

Please link me to articles of management bashing Fonseca? Even when he lost against Genoa there was silence.

The only thing you have is the way he got sacked. Other than that no one said anything close to negative about him.

Milan, harsh speech from #Ibrahimovic to the team: #Fonseca's dismissal is a defeat for everyone, not just the Portuguese. We need an immediate change of attitude because now there are no alibis, now it's up to the players to react and bring results with the new coach Sergio #Conceiçao.

Ibra should look in the mirror and repeat that to himself.

This team has been severely mismanaged, starting from the coach appointment and ending with the transfer market.
This team severely lacks organization and balance.

If he thinks his pseudo-motivational speeches can fix that, he is in for a big surprise. :proud:

Milan chose #Conceiçao because he is a coach with a strong character and believes that a tough guy is good for the locker room. If a scene was needed to create atmosphere, go back to April: four Porto players left out of the team because, it was written, they were guilty of an unprofessional attitude and a few too many smiles after a 2-2 in Porto-Famaliçao. Conceiçao is like that: he believes that the strong personality in the locker room should be the coach. Him. So Milan chose a tough guy with grit, football skills and a winning past in Portugal.

must say I agree. Inter players are more "mean" and thuggish, our players are too pussy, been like that for too long
And that is why many people wanted Conte as the preferred choice during summer.
Napoli are joint top 1 without any serious transfers, just with the change of attitude.

I’d argue the same with Tomori. At his best he’s amazing. Surprised you used him as an example like Calabria.
Tomori has been bad for more of his tenure than he has been good at this stage. I fear he may have been a flash in the pan for us

After how his Lazio era ended I can understand that they didn't want to give him those conditions, especially if Conceicao accepted them.

Sarri with experience in Serie A and winning trophies, vs Conceicao who does not have experience in Serie A should not be the same offer.

And asking for 6 months plus 1 full season is pretty normal for a manager with proper credentials

Hope the new coach doesn't have a bias against Italians and we can buy a couple of them.
For foreigners I like Dominguez at Bologna, very good DM, but that's more for summer.
I hope Conceicao in not influenced by Fonseca' s choices of a starting line-up but has his own ideas as he probably has watched plenty of tape of Milan knowing that he might our coach at some point. Also must have followed Serie A since his son plays at Juve.

Wonder what he thinks of Royal at RB or RLC anywhere on the pitch who's also lazy af. Also which players he recommends for January based on our budget and whether our management will provide them for him.
Many, many questions to be asked but at least there's some enthusiasm for the coaching change.
Currently I'm excited to see what happens... The January Mercato really will decide our season though.

We need some better fucking players from the bench!!!!

It's on upper management entirely now to make decisions that influence the outcome of this season.

Browsing the team store and just thinking about it, how disrespectful is it to Milan’s brand and legacy to combine Milan with the New York Yankees. No other fanbase of any team in any sport would go for combining two different sports teams brands. That’s not even taking into consideration how disrespectful it is to think we need the yankee brand to propel the Milan brand.

Why is this being sold on our team store?

This guy Gerry is disrespectful even when he doesn’t try to be.

Teaming up with one of the biggest sports brand in the world is embarrassing and disrespectful???

You can hate on Gerry's team when it comes to performance on the field for sure. But their performance commercially is actually good.

If thats disrespectful then what was this:

This was also good PR:

A comment from Porto's subreddit about Conceição:

Overall, he's a very good trainer. Expect a team playing with a high-pressure style. If you have lazy attackers that don't like to defend, they will have a hard time with him.
He values work and attitude above talent, so players that put in the effort will usually be in his good graces, even if there are better options. It's very difficult for him to bench players he sees as role models, even if they are underperforming.
He will try to create a team spirit that values work and attitude. Eventually, that will elevate the quality of the team, but it can be very frustrating to see some of his decisions as a fan.
He's very passionate and emotional about the game but lacks emotional control, so expect a breakdown at some point. Additionally, he will bond with some players. This means some players will start to replicate his behavior.

New coach means the cards are re-dealt…kind of
Guys like Fik, Pavlovic, RLC, Musah, Tammy, Calabria even Jovic get a new chance to get into the team/get a bigger role for some and even start for others.
If Jovic is fit there's absolutely no reason to not try him. Fucking Tammy and Morata are firing blanks mostly.

Although I dream of Jovic being inserted in a deal to being Jo David here in January.

Getting David and sending Tammy back while getting Salad back for me makes a big fucking difference to our options.

Then try insert RLC and ChK into some deals and close the mercato.

Give the new guy some better options and the team an actual chance of salvaging something from the season.

If you think Conceicao's football is compatible with Rafa Leao's personality, it's a good thing you're not in charge of shit, either.

Get rid of our best player for a managers style that is on a 6 month contract

Inter players are mean and thuggish because they average one yellow every 8 fouls, while every other team is 1 yellow for every 4 fouls. Its easy when you got the refs in your pocket. Our players get carded for looking the ref in the eyes

I wouldn’t get my hopes up for any major investments in January. My expectation is Cristante on loan. That’s it.
I absolutely agree with you.

I can see some weird, maybe even interesting loan moves. We have enough guys to insert into deals.

I keep harping on but I hope that Tammy fucks of and we can use Jovic to secure Jo David. It gives us some actual goal threat. We're shooting blanks and the Tammy experiment has failed.

You mentioned Cristante, if Adli or Salad don't want to come back, which wouldn't surprise me at all given their treatment. Getting Cristante and having Ben back at least gives us bodies in the middle, and sold defensive options in midfield.

The lack of a vice Deers really worries me still... Adli, come home, please forgive us.
