So Moncada is responsible for every single signing while he was at the club?

Those bought for 580k and those who before once went for 58m.

For me, the answer is yes, but just making sure people aren't putting Pulisic in the category of Moncada gem finds.

Suma would say Milan is responsible for every signing. Not Moncada. Not Maldini. Not Furlani. Not Zlatan. Milan. Only Milan.

I don't know why I just wrote this.

I don't know, its Psg and Inter, couldn't be more meh... Both like meant to be playing in Europa or Conference league.

I hate meh teams doing reasonable on the field.. its worst than Monaco x Porto. No tradition, no anger, no nothing.
Inter is easily top 5 perfomers in CL for some years now.
Psg a bit behind but no way Monaco or Porto one year wonder.

The only thing that Boban said correct is the Paolo firing.
All the other jabs he tried to take against Elliot fall on deaf ears because they fucking won the Scudetto and brought us back into UCL.

Boban did fuck all for us when he was a Director here. The two seasons that we had him as a Director, we ended in 5th and 6th place (when he got fired for his interview). He wasn't even a Director at the point when we started trending back upwards. I wouldn't be surprised if he was the mastermind who brought in Giampaolo.

Love Zvono as a player, but he did a number on us as a Director.
How are Zlatan, Moncada and Frodo doing as directors?

5th 6th is better than 8th 9th?

Not a director but masterminded an important decision like appointing the manager?

He's bang on about Paolo, the rest of the interview doesn't hold much weight... But is he any worse than the current crop who somehow avoid criticism way too easily for me. Why? Because you have to back current management if you want to continue to bash the previous management?

Why are people wasting so much energy on Boban?

Love the guy, he's a Milan legend. When he's on the button, awesome... When it's hot air, meh, cool story bro, move on. He has a beef with Elliot, that's his beef.

Exactly.

Also, "opinionista" is one of those uniquely Italian terms that doesn’t fully translate. The closest thing in English is probably "pundit", but even that doesn’t carry the same self-declared gravitas. In Italy, "opinionista" has somehow become a profession – often proudly self-appointed, rarely held to any standard.

In modern terms, someone like Longoni is a content creator, plain and simple. His YouTube presence easily has more daily reach than his appearances on QSVS or TeleLombardia. His business isn’t journalism. It’s milking the Milan discourse cycle for clicks and engagement. And that's what a content creator does – both pro or contra management. Maybe we can call it "online opinionista" too, why not .

And yeah, if we’re being brutally honest: journalism in Italy isn’t dying – it’s already dead. What we have now is a theatre of echo chambers, agendas and narratives. A lot of what people call journalism these days is actually just content creation (see my comment above). And as content creators dominate the online space, traditional journalists are forced to adapt – building followings, teasing scoops, pushing narratives. The line between journalism and content blurs more and more each day.

For many, it's not about informing anymore – it's about performing. The sad reality is that the search for truth has left the building years ago.

To cite one of the greatest lines ever written in one of the currently greatest shows out there:

"The distance between what is said and what is known to be true has become an abyss. Of all the things at risk, the loss of an objective reality is perhaps the most dangerous. The death of truth is the ultimate victory of evil. When truth leaves us, when we let it slip away, when it is ripped from our hands, we become vulnerable to the appetite of whatever monster screams the loudest."

They're wasting their energy on Boban because he was a proper Director.
The current three stooges working under Gerry are not real Directors, they are worker bees who fell into those positions because the guy up top was dumb enough to give it to them. They had no experience being executive directors in any other company before this. The fact that they can reach 9th is already a Miracle.

Zvono on the other hand used to be Chief of Football at UEFA for many years before he did his stint at Milan. And after Milan he went crawling back to Ceferin and has been working there ever since. He has way more experience at a high level Senior Management position than any of the three morons we have working with us.

So Zvono's fuck up - Not expected
Zebra, Monkey and Hobbit's fuck ups - Expected

That's the difference.

But why waste so much time on Boban's words when we're sitting in 8/9th place and a guy that loves Milan, I'll not question that, is calling out these new "directors" and ownership.

As a supporter of the club he has a right to be upset and annoyed at our current position.

Put his feelings and personal issues to the side and you agree with stuff he says when it's factually correct.

He talks sense in-between the personal beef.

Meanwhile the RedTurd simps jump all over Joe words and make it about "old management bad" or whatever.

Let the guy speak, he's done more to deserve a voice than anyone on this forum lol.

Or is that too nuanced for the everything is either black or white fraction and you got to pick a side?
but you have chosen... youve chosen speculators over club heros

I don't mind if he speaks his mind about his beef with Elliot, or his distaste for the current management.

He was a legend on the pitch who made mistakes as a Director of the club. That's all there is to it. Same could be said of Paolo. Just because the current management and ownership made bigger, costlier mistakes, doesn't diminish the mistakes they made as well.

My issue is the timing of this interview being published. Not even going to comment on the 5M lawsuit he had with Milan.

Before a Cup Final? Really? Do these guys even want what's good for the club? What exactly is the point of dropping the interview NOW?

By the way, you keep on emphasizing how Gerry and the crew have us in 9th.
For your perspective:
Our great Berlu and Galliani combo had us in 10th in 2014-15.
52 points that entire season.

Well folk say he wants attention... When a good or bad time to say anything?

Was he asked questions? Did he answer them?

Hell Frodo and co did a fucking thesis with a university in the US that's full of fucking great quotes and sound bites if we want to focus on other views and opinions...

I don't understand things... On Fabregas already the rumours coming from Casa Milan: 'but he would have already agreed with Leverkusen'. Are you going to pick up the phone with Fabregas, who I think, from the reports I have, would come running?

Pellegatti, ladies and gentlemen. He knows everything, he doesn't know something, he doesn't understand anything and all at the same time. Real multitasking and a prime example of the idiots who accompany our club in the media. Real opinionists.

AC Milan invited Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic and Jasmine Paolini for Wednesday's final. All three are Rossoneri fans. Among the Milan VIPs present were Laura Pausini, several politicians and former players such as Dida, Serginho, Donadoni, Ambrosini and Panucci

Tomorrow Boban will cry because he wasn't invited.

How about criticizing him and management when the dust fully settles on the season. When results are tallied and we can actually say "This season was a monumental failure".

Why before a Cup Final?

I swear these journalist claiming to be Milan fans are fucking bullshit clickbait opportunists. They are no Milan fans.

Scored with his left.
Scored with his right.
Just needed a header for a perfect hattrick.

I pray he keeps going, but even with the brace I think he’s average. But we invested a lot and he needs to get a proper chance next season.

With that being said, what an annoying end to the season. We’re close enough to have hope for CL but far enough to know that it’s impossible

Edit: Aaaand Venicia scores 2 mins after this :lol:

Boban is speaking on behalf of all true Milanisti.

Plebs in here stinking up the place on a weekly basis doesn't change that.

If I won 10 billion dollars I would buy Milan and use the helicopter they used on the Bin Laden raid and land on Milanello with @Tantalis , Paolo and Sandro.

Before a cup final, all ranks should be closed and active players, officials, former players and "journalists" should stand together. That's how you spark euphoria, light everything on fire. After all, it's a title they haven't been able to win for 22 years.

It was dynamics like this that won Frankfurt the Europa League.

Anyone who doesn't understand that and therefore doesn't get why Boban's interview is stupid now can't be helped. Fans like that deserve Serie D, but nothing else.
