Didn't know that. Checked TransferMarket and it says obbligation to buy with conditions, don't know what those are. I think he's the type of player that Sarri likes so it might be difficult to take him from Lazio. Valued 28 million, Ricci 30 on that site.
My understanding is that they were pretty easy to meet, so was more giving Lazio some wiggle room if he got hurt or massively underperformed.

It was a 2 year loan and Sarri had asked for him… I’d love to get him just don’t think we can. They’re going to demand a lot and we’re broke

8, 7 and 6 years, they are already counted as as retained since they spent their best years with inter.
not only did inter kept them, but also added to the squad...
there will always be exceptions to the rule? but if any big club were really interested in splashing big money on them they would have been gone like lukaku, hakimi, onana, icardi, kovacic, skriniar

Would people take Donnarumma back for free? I know I would!
Ibra and him could talk about things like not being able to read and how much tougher life is these days with Mino around to do all of their thinking for them

Added bonus- Donna could tell Ibra what it feels like to win a Champions League

We're not broke.
We aren't even adverse to playing with house money.
Our management are just shit at gambling.

depends where is the limit on big money,
if psg wants to shell out 250 million, sure, they will go, but than not even reals or city players are safe.

So....
Kalulu for 14M + 3M bonuses
Pellegrino for 4M + 10% sell on
Tiji for 57M + ~ 15M Bonuses
CDK 23M + Performance bonuses

What's our budget for this Summer?
Is Gerry going to give us the usual 50M transfer kitty?
That already bumps us up to 148M.
If we sell Theo (30M), that's 178M.

All our players want out apparently. Well, now it makes sense why we looked so unmotivated and toothless for most part of last season.
if he is not gone this summer, he ll most likely be gone next.
Much to the delight of the revamp squad enjoyers, looks like we are going to do this every summer for the foreseeable future..

He went to City at 25 - 26 which seems to be the tipping point for promise and finished product.
He played in EPL which counts for more than people like to credit when it comes to fees and because he was a star in Portugal after Enzo his price was pumped which continued across in transfers.

What did Milan do in CL? Milan finished midtable so City took the player they liked because they knew Milan would be open to selling and the player would be open to leaving. I struggle to see how looking at this from outside how we get 80-90 mill.

Also the fact that we are bad at selling since Berlusconi probably plays into what our market is - we held a bunch of players and ended up with much less so its hard to win out.
We are really great at devaluating our own players. If its not enough assists, its lack of goals, effort, behavioral. Now its CL contribution and finishing midtable. I'd rather say he came from Eredivisie, became a leader at Milan, double digit goals, modern player, just renewed his contract. 75m or gtfo.

Appearently Tare agreed with Allegri that he gets 2 reinforcements each for defence, mid and attack. They are not all going to be big transfers but I think it is safe to say that there will be reinvesting and a lot of activity.

Did Kaka tho?
Or Ibra?
Or TS?
Or Sheva?
He (or them) were just being cooperative as a professional.

If you take players only on memorable moments, i’d only remember Gattuso for choking Joe Jordan.
Kaka and sheva were here for 7 seasons?
No one is regarding TS as a bandiera.
Ibra, as I said, would be more considered since he has the Milan spirit, and was an advocate of the club.

Zambrotta is a bandiera even tho he came in at age 33.

What has tonali done or said to warrant being a Milan legend?

Well you can spin that to your hearts content but when the negotiation starts it's none of us in the room is it.

Hence why im calling out our historical incompetence in here :o
Oh on that part I agree but I think it's hard to get a higher price given all I laid out.

People keep trying to handwave these things away though like they don't exist. He isn't 22 - 23 some new hotness or played in EPL where it's seen as a plus or went through CL killing teams.

So after we disappear and can offer him no CL how do we extract more other than taking him off the market and hoping he repeats those numbers ..... But then he will be a year older and haven't played CL so they will use the limited schedule against him.

We want to sell for more... Play younger players and do well in marquee matches and be willing to sell when they are hot.
Why are people keep acting like we live in some bizarro universe where these things don't apply????

Can we sell anyone to man utd? They just paid 75m for some rando from Wolves

with Liverpool paying 150m for Wirtz and 50m for Kerkez, we could have marketed Reijnders and Theo to Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea just to see their market prices before we accept the first bid City comes in with. Even Aston Villa/Spurs would be interested in spending 80-90m on Reijnders as he is a Dutch NT, plays deep and contributes to goals.

Theo for 25m is a much better move for Liverpool than Kerkez at 50m.

I will not get why we are selling Reijndres for too low. Theo & Maignan I get, and I would love to renew their contracts for 2 years with a minor raise. That way we get them for one more year and they can get a better price now that their contract doesn't expire next year, but will the players want that?

Do you guys think Allegri was a decision made by Tare? or a decision made by the previous management and Tare just had to 'accept'?

So far the first moves done since appointing Tare officially:
- Signed Allegri (for me this was a terrible decision that will take years to recover from, similar to Fonseca)
- Sold Reijnders for 65m (yes plusvalenza, but could have easily asked for another 50% on top, IMO very bad move just because of price)
- Modric (good bet, remains to be seen how he will acclimatise to Serie A)
- did not give in to Roma's demands for Saelemaekers (good move)
- did not renew Walker (good move)
- all the following squad leaders are linked with exits Maignan (Chelsea), Theo (Hilal / Atletico), Reijnders , Leao (Bayern)
