The fall from grace of Theo has been one of the saddest and disturbing chapters in Milan history. As with many others here Theo was my favorite player, his legendary runs from the left side, at times thru the middle, were spectacular to watch and he was legit one of the top LBs in the world.

Has lost his speed, got heavier, seems disinterested, trots back instead of running, there's clearly something wrong with him. Could be personal, psychological, mental, but he's a shadow of the player we once loved and admired.
There is no place for sentimentality in football, nostalgia for past performances, if you don't produce, you're gone.

30 million is an excellent price for someone on his last year of contract that has steadily regressed, and I'll remember Theo for the years of pleasure that he gifted Milan fans.

Basically the want to up the base skill while at the cost of risky higher ceiling players.

Like the players we are linked they all have been pretty consistent these past seasons, but that is their limit, bar Modric because of his obvious age.

I can see and somewhat agree, but we also need to make some risky moves or you cannot find the world class talents otherwise.

He's not close to them in terms of reliability, but he clearly has the inside track here. He might be worth keeping more of an eye on this summer. Perhaps he and Tare are buds?
