Max forget about xhaka and request Sandro.

i feel sandro next szn would be a lot likelier.. he's also playing in the CL this season and we're not, so it makes sense for him to continue and run down the contract for 1 more year, bringing his price point to around 40-50m..

I absolutely REFUSE to believe that after Moncada landed Theo, Kerkez and Jiminez, that Royal was anything other than a Zlatan signing.

There is NO chance Moncada wanted Royal. None. Impossible. Does not at all fit his MO.
How about Musah, RLC, Chuk, Sottil, Felix, Morata, Bondo,Okafor...can you belive he got those?

If Theo delivered like he used to, and Mike stopped near post shots and Leao was putting in MVP performances, and if... Well you get my point...

RLC is a bust, goals here and there glossed over the fact he's just not very good at much.
I didn't say he is/was Pirlo or Zidane, just for his on sake, delivered atleast ONCE a month a performance like that, it would be nice.

Wouldn't be too high of a price if you made it to cl furlani. You also could have kept your best midfielder. We need Zaniolo to beat up this child.

It's unreal no one has given him an atomic wedgie or Indian rugburn by now. Soft team.

Hang him by his underwear on the nearest flag pole.

Yes, but it remains to be seen right now whether the choices moving forward are being made by Tare/Allegri or by the Midget, the Zebra and the Data Analyst.

I'm just saying if Max thought he was rehabilitate-able, then he would have convinced the Midget to keep him here.

The fact that we see him agreeing to a move elsewhere shows that not to be the case (unless it's the alternative that midget wants him Gone-Gone no matter what).
I am not sure that Maignan transfer story actually ended .

Xhaka is almost 33 when the season start. Just get modric as experienced player for free, and buy other players
This management is not serious, wasting a full month on chasing players nobody else is showing interest in who are closer to the age of 40 than 20. We are moving like an MLS team, embarrassing stuff.

Calma calma, this is just the obligatory negotiation-dance that happens with every deal. Reijnders, Theo, Musah, I believe Maignan as well, etc. It’s a matter of time. And also, you know, the ”journalists” have to generate clicks.

Fair enough, I think you raise a few valid concerns – especially about RedBird's reluctance to inject capital directly, and the decision to use Milan’s own books for the land purchase. But I think it’s important to separate short-term cash flow from long-term strategy here.

Yes, Milan spent 55M of its own money to buy the San Donato land if some of those reports are to be believed, which does reduce available liquidity for transfers or wages in the short term. But that doesn’t mean the money is "gone" or wasted. It’s been turned into a tangible asset – real estate – which increases the club’s overall value and lays the groundwork (literally) for long-term independence from San Siro and improved matchday revenues or improved structures for the youth teams who hopefully can be turned into even more valuable assets for the club too one day.

From a FFP perspective, that kind of infrastructure investment isn’t even counted against spending limits. So this has no negative effect on what the club is allowed to spend in terms of FFP compliance – it’s a business decision, not a regulatory issue.

The argument that RedBird should’ve used a separate vehicle to make the purchase is fair, but also a bit speculative. We don’t know the tax reasoning, the legal framework, or whether Milan will eventually move those assets under a stadium-holding entity later. And comparing this directly to Chelsea (which is a completely different ownership and structural context) only goes so far.

If the criticism is that RedBird prioritizes business structure and asset growth over immediate sporting success – that’s a fair debate. But saying the 55M land purchase is the reason we didn’t buy this or that player or hire a better coach feels like oversimplifying a complex situation. Let’s not forget: the money isn’t missing – it’s just tied up in a different kind of investment.
Are you saying buying a stadium doesn’t impact ffp?

So ffp rules would discount purchase of a stadium and what offset it against our losses?

So go buy Alfonso Davies, to replace Theo. Rodrigo and Bruno Guimaraes for the midfield, Pau Cubarsi as our center back, JD for our striker and Inaki Williams on the right as our winger.

When management starts making moves like this, the quote unquote lies about limits on how much we can spend for a player/players might end.

This management is brutal.

I like Chiesa but I do not understand why we are not on Ndoye like Naples who prioritizes Ndoye.

Xhaka the old man if he doesn't come so much better. The only acceptable old people are legends like Modric, provided you do not play Europe also lol

Morata I hope it's a joke! I will be disgusted to see Gimenez leave.

Ciro Venerato, when speaking to Rai 2:

“Milan are interested in Federico Chiesa! A phone call to his entourage and a meeting with Liverpool through an intermediary. Liverpool’s veto must be removed, as they want to give the player to Milan on loan with an obligation to buy, and not on loan with an option.
“Milan has forcefully entered for Chiesa, who Napoli is evaluating but considers him only as an alternative to other wingers, starting with Ndoye. While Allegri, who knows the Italian offensive winger very well, would gladly take him.
“The problem is the formula, because Milan does not intend to risk large sums. A loan with an option or a loan with a conditional obligation could be a solution. On the fact that Milan and Allegri are thinking about Chiesa, I can confirm it a thousand percent.”

Who is Ciro Venerato? Is he worth listening to?
He's the official mercato expert for RAI TV and pretty good but doesn't use social media. Not the first to break news but usually when almost certain of a deal.

LMAO, is that how you see it?
I'm trying to direct anger at the proper place.
Point out his actual faults and flaws, not make up charges and use those as his rap sheet.

He didn't take money out of the club. He used the money earned by the club and reinvested it back into it (Futuro, San Donato, new players for the ones we sold off). To say otherwise would be defamation.

What he DID do is not hire competent experts for the positions that were needed, and those that he hired fucked up the project with their incompetence, leading to the drop in Squad Value and Club Valuation.

Call him out for shit he did, not make up false charges and stew about it unnecessarily.
He hired the wrong people and after a disastrous season kept them in place including that moron from the US that led Milan Futuro to an amateur league like Serie D.

A CEO delegates power in all aspects of a business trusting that they will do a good job but when these people fail miserably with a roster that lost 100 million in value over the last season you need to replace them with better directors. Gerry's failure to do so is unforgivable, and so I will always despise him.

Theo scored many goals because he could do what he wanted. Not because he was good (as demonstrated by the fact that he almost never scored elsewhere)

Pioli knew many players here were "special"

For Giampaolo he wasn't even a starter lol
Theo was a great offensive player but doesn't hold the record as the highest FB scorer in Milan history. It belongs to Aldo Maldera, a LB that with us won 2 scudetti and 2 Coppe Italia.

Not to diminish Theo's feat that was accomplished in six seasons while Maldera did it in 9 (73 to 82), just for historical accuracy.

Oh I am so offended on behalf of people with lacking father figures. Wish I had yours
My father was a strong believer in corporal punishment that didn't deter me from screwing up, but I always considered myself a mama's boy. I don't think the beatings left scars on my psyche or affected me in any way because most of my friends received the same treatment from their dads, so I believed it was normal occurrence.

I have 3 daughters over 50 and never laid a hand on them when they were little, a promise that I made to myself. We live 1500 miles away from each-other but have frequent contacts, are pretty close, and I visit them every year in the month of August.

But we were told there’s nothing you can do but let the players go for free when they are down to their last year

I have to say - to get two attractive offers was good work but that Saudi money sure sweetens it for Theo.

Still, I know that in the past (even before the last SD) Milan management would've shut down negotiations as soon as a player said they didn't want to move.

Looks like Adli is back with us and on the selling block already. Reportedly was wanted in Qatar, but right after I read the news the country was bombed.
