its going to be something like

Jashari--Xhaka--Fofana
Modric--Ricci--RLC

maybe bondo too
we sold reijnders for 55m+, lets say 20m for musah,

jasahari 35m
xhaka 10m
ricci 25m
modric free

pretty much breaks even and i think our midfield is better
Don't forget Adli, Bennacer and Pobega to be sold.

Not that I've become a Jashari expert all of a sudden, but from his heat map and comps he never quite looked like a regista to be put in front of the defense to me. I see him more as a mezz'ala. Xhaka to me is much more the classic regista. Maybe also due to his age.

Let me fantasize:

Jashari/Pobega – Xhaka/Modric – Fofana/RLC

TBD what to do with Adli, Bondo and Bennacer. But I could kinda see this happening going into next season. Then again rumors about Ricci are resurfacing. Guerra might be on the horizon too. We'll see how they see the puzzle coming together.
From that one twitter clip he seemed typical regista to me

Pobega *barfs*
Sell that fodder to Bologna

a good looking Italian boy, face of an angel (n/h)

Italian NT player. The upside of this definitely is that we need an Italian core who still sees Serie A and especially Milan as a final destination, not as a stepping stone for the next better league.

But yeah, please don't give that guy the keys to our midfield yet. Modric and Xhaka together would be such important for this team's mentality.

I hope Ricci doesn't mean no Xhaka. That would be such a bummer.

I also hope the door for Jashari isn't closed. Not sure how all of the three would fit. But I already kinda set my heart on Xhaka and Jashari.
You got your mancrush don't worry. His dad confirmed the talks.
Ricci is an alternative for Jashari.

Who likes Ben and Acerbi?

Interesting thing
Sheva means 7 in Hebrew
If you calculate Shevchenko's birthdate using Pythagorean numerology it determines his life path is 7, which is coincidentally also my lp

Well, he's a good soldier who brings the bread home. Good for homegrown quota too. Not the player to ignite fan's fantasies, that's for sure. But you still need those good soldier breed who are comfortably happy with the bench while still giving 110% in training and when subbed in. No way around that.

As for Jashari, I'd really be careful with giving him the key to our central MF position just yet. Only a year ago he played for Lucerne in Switzerland. One superb season in Belgian League is cool, but a bit premature to prefer him over a proven veteran like Xhaka (yeah yeah I know you hate that brate) who captained teams like the Swiss NT, Arsenal and Leverkusen while winning league titles and dominating in CL and EL.

If we want more Italians they would have to be pretty young and promising so Ricci already part of Italy's national squad, and Leoni the most acclaimed young CB in Italy fit the bill. They don't have to start right away but would be members of a deep bench initially.

Best way to ease them in. That's why I desperately want Xhaka and Modric to carry that tourch for a while before handling it to someone younger.

I guess Jivara rates Acerbi as a player, doubt he likes him as a person... I mean you just can't like that douchebag who threatens to beat up fans of the opposition
I remember when Bennacer seemed like a good technical mid when he first came to Milan, but things didn't turn out well

25M (some are reporting it is 22+3). Good price, sell Musah for something similar and it is an upgrade IMO.

After the rumors that Cairo wouldn't budge from his initial valuation of 35-40M (never ever a realistic price), I expected it to be closer to 30M.

25M, including bonuses, I guess that's fair. Not that he's been my favorite target. I hope those will still arrive. But it's a solid start.

BREAKING from Matteo Moretto: Ricci–Milan – After very recent contacts between the parties, the two clubs are very close to a full agreement. The deal being worked on is €22m + €3m in add-ons. Final details still to be ironed out.
reasonable figures

can't do much wrong with this i guess

I will actually be pissed off if this goddamn fodder stays at Milan but Camarda and Liberali are loaned out.

How bro?
De Cuyper is older, more experienced, seems to be a prolific goalscorer and has been starter in Belgian league for 3 seasons compared to Jashari
Also has more International Caps for a superior NT like Belgium

De Cuyper is a much safer bet all around
Go watch both highlight reels.
Tell me who impressed you more. I know this isn't a great way to judge a player..

De Cuyper looks like a very offensive player. Probably a winger that was pushed back. Decent speed. Good dribbler. What else?
Is he not just very similar to Alexis? Who by the way, I'm very happy to keep. I'd be curious to see what he could do at RB - if we go for a defensive LB. (which makes sense as the LB won't get support from Leao)

But from what I see, I don't see De Cuyper with the level of ability that I can see him becoming too good for us. He may even be not good enough. Especially defensively.

However, Jashari I'm convinced at the very least is good enough. Im as certain as I can be. But, I actually believe he's too good. He'll get interest every summer after he joins..and We'll be fighting to keep him. He's Tonali with better passing.

Ricci wants Milan badly and will sweat for the jersey, also I'm sure he idolizes Modric who could be kind of a mentor to him. With age of players like Xhaka, if he comes to us, Ricci could see plenty of action in a reserve role and as occasional starter. Going from Juric and Vanoli to Allegri is a monumental upgrade in coaching and he could also benefit from that change.

Imo Ricci means Xhaka is not coming, I think that both are strictly CDM's and we also already have Modrić for same position.
Jashari and Guerra are more like LCM's for this formations.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm excited for young talented italians. Leoni next, please. :proud:
Xhaka is sadly confirmed by his dad
Modric will play on the left like at Real, I don't think Allegri will fuck with his position
It will be

Modric-Xhaka-????

IMO we will get one of Jashari/Guerra/Ricci, not two of them
My preference out of those 3 is Guerra
I'm hoping that Furlani decides Jashari is not worth it for that price

"Theo was never as good as Antonini that one time."

How do people wake up, brush their teeth, go to work, live a normal life thinking some of the most insane things ever thought by a person and his brain? Incredible. Some people really can't cope with loss unless they commit to delusions. It's sad.
Im not a Theo enthusiast and even I found this repulsive.

And how many more successful 4m transfers did we have over the last 10 years? :monto:

Every once in 10 years, even Leicester City can win EPL. :monto:
Bro, stop moving goalposts

You went into hysteria regarding this management buying another striker which means taking Gimenez out (what?), then when that got disproved, yelled at management for:

"buying another giroud esque #9" for 20-30m when we have so many gaps in the squad

When the person you referred to was bought for.. 4m euro

Theo is gone, and it's okay. Life moves on. Management cannot be blamed for everything.

De Cuyper has 109 games played in the last 2 seasons bro
3 goals in 10 matches for Belgium NT whereas Salad has 1 goal in 16

Also he doesn't have the fodder face like Salad

modric isnt a CDM, everyone thinks his position is like pirlo but he isnt.

hes a deep-lying mediano. always had the likes of casemiro, xabi alonso next to him

I'm massively for bringing Italians in, so I'll be patient with Ricci.
His stats last season didnt impress me. Maybe it the was job he was asked to do, but he only did one thing well, and everything else really badly.
Jashari - Fofana - Modric - Adli - Ricci - RLC/Pobega

If we start the season with 6 midfielders and this is the 6 - I'm content. I'm desperate to keep hold of Adli. I'm fine with both RLC/Pobega leaving too and getting in a younger player. Preferably Ringo Meerveld :D Or Fazzini - who is probably heading to Fiorentina. Both are technical players, who look great in the no 10 role.

I think after the pressure Xhaka and his Dad doing to Leverkusen that he will come and how its look, Ricci. I dont think we will get Jashari/Gurrera too? Maybe RLC realy will play a bigger role after the comments from Tare.

Well he doesn't idolize Xhaka, that's for sure
