Yuck! NO
Cant really deny man who scored around 70 goals (club+country)

In my opinion this is the last golden opportunity for england to win any international trophy.
More and more competent manager like klopp, zidane and possibly pep moving on to national team jobs

Euro 2016…did France have any business losing that Final, especially after Ronaldo went off?

202(0/1)— France had Switzerland down and out. Then…collapse

2022, fine, it was Messi’s destiny

This World Cup? I picked Spain to win, but given what Deschamp was working with, was the loss today a hard-fought one even? It was a whimper. That’s on him.
This is football. Deschamps is one of the greatest national team managers of all time. He has won a World Cup!

Imagine giving another ballon d or to burger league player Messi..inter miami would have 2 ballon dors lololo

Mbappe cant wint shit. No cl, no liga, no wc lol
He won it at 19 years old while dominating it. Yamal had his best and only game in this SF..Yamal has the potential to be up there with the greatest..but so far he is still nowhere. By the likes of his lifestyle lately..he is closer to become a Quaresma than a Messi…

Yamal is a level below Messi and Ronaldo who were exceptional elite talents.
He probably will reach a Salah, Robben prime level

In the performance period considered for Messi's last Ballondor, he was playing with PSG. But it will be highly controversial to give him Ballondor for winning this WC. He can always take the best player in WC trophy - he might get it even if he loses the next game, he has been amazing in this tournament. But Ballondor is for a full season and MLS performances never counted earlier - if that was the case, semi - retired Zlatan and fucking Carlos Vela had amazing numbers in the past.
But, having said that, Cannavaro won a Ballondor for 8 outstanding games in 2006. But it was still somewhat justifiable because he played with Juventus, not any micky mouse league. Ballondor with Inter Miami would be farcical. But there is a positive. These days, sometimes when you google "Inter", it is Inter Miami coming as the first result and not Inter Milan (I know it depends on location, search history etc.). If Ballondors to Messi makes Inter Miami more synonymous with the brand "Inter", please give him the next 5.

Nah..Messi was a Inter Miami player when he won his last ballon dor..even if he won it because of his “previous season” in PSG..still thats bad. He was a shadow of his barca days in both seasons at PSG..

Messi and Ronaldo could play until they are 60 and still be fairly considered as still some of the very best regard anything..their careers gave them this credit…but the truth is we all know..Messi/Ronaldo are not even top 10 players anymore…they cant run..they cant do a lot of things they used to do..but yeah both are still magical when they are in their favourites moments of the game

Also they can consider themself a bit lucky. They never suffered from a long serious injury in their careers, so they could keep playing on the highest level

Milan manager Ruben Amorim: "The quality of our football will be crucial because the Serie A is extremely demanding. We want to DOMINATE games and win, with players who are strong in one-on-one situations."

"We have many objectives ahead of us. I won't make many promises, our actions will matter most. There will be obstacles, but we want to be ambitious. I love Milanello; it's an exceptional place. My experiences, including the mistakes I've made in the past, have made me a better Coach."

Even if spain win 2026 world cup, theres should be no way he deserve balon dor.
Argentina win = messi balon dor
England win = kane balon dor
Spain win = messi/kane (depending on who spain face off in the final)
Harry Kane deserves the ballon dor in my opinion, even if England lose tonight

Messi shouldn’t be considered he plays in the MLS, can’t give the ballon dor based on 5-6 games imo

CR has dropped considerably, he's not the same but Messi? The drop isn't that significant... he's always produced in moments and as you say those moments are still there

He is either going to be the next Sacchi (revolutionary) or the next Giampaolo (repulsive). I don't see a middle path.

I can't wait for Messi and Ronaldo to retire...

Spain to win please.

Then FIFA can market the handing over to the new guard with pictures of Messi and Yamal. Then we can watch Mbappe and Haaland become the next rivalry somehow, maybe?

And Yamal vrs Olisse?

too many great players to list but if pushed all time favorite player: Maldini

I have no idea what to expect from Amorim. I didn’t see anything of his approach with his previous clubs. I just hope his stint at Milan is not a repeat of his time with Utd. As it was a disaster by all accounts.
