Yeah it's hard to make any opinion on the guy, his set up, philosophies, etc etc, until we see a few games.I have no idea what to expect from Amorim. I didn’t see anything of his approach with his previous clubs. I just hope his stint at Milan is not a repeat of his time with Utd. As it was a disaster by all accounts.
I mean naturally it’s a given right ? Anyone who supports a club for well over 30 years clearly hates that club.Yeah it's hard to make any opinion on the guy, his set up, philosophies, etc etc, until we see a few games.
That's why honestly, I'm intrigued by the game Vrs Celtic.
Not a big game, not a bad team, some of our players might still be on holiday? So it'll be a good test for the squad at large... And we know how I love "squad construction".
I obviously wish failure on Milan in this match, and that Maldini wins by scoring the winning penalty!!!
They were the superior and more composed team in every respect. France looked disjointed and desperate for a moment of magic from one of their attacking players. One thing I've noticed about Spain is that they almost never lose in semis or finals. They either crash out early in the group stage or the Round of 16, or they go all the way and win the whole thing. Maybe it's because when their system and collective play click, they become almost impossible to beat. If it doesn't, they tend to go out much earlier.
The football world needs also to be saved from the English media. They already never stop going on about the Premier League — I can't even imagine the level of propaganda we'd have to endure if England actually won the World Cup..They've even managed to convince people that an ordinary player like Rice is a genuine Ballon d'Or contender !!!They were the superior and more composed team in every respect. Whom ever Spain play in the final - hopefully Argentina. I hope Spain win it. And the world of football can move on from the Messi or CR7 goat debate.
Even if spain win 2026 world cup, theres should be no way he deserve balon dor.
Argentina win = messi balon dor
England win = kane balon dor
Spain win = messi/kane (depending on who spain face off in the final)
Imagine giving another ballon d or to burger league player Messi..inter miami would have 2 ballon dors lololo
Nah..Messi was a Inter Miami player when he won his last ballon dor..even if he won it because of his “previous season” in PSG..still thats bad. He was a shadow of his barca days in both seasons at PSG..
Messi and Ronaldo could play until they are 60 and still be fairly considered as still some of the very best regard anything..their careers gave them this credit…but the truth is we all know..Messi/Ronaldo are not even top 10 players anymore…they cant run..they cant do a lot of things they used to do..but yeah both are still magical when they are in their favourites moments of the game
Watching him or Mbappé play feels like watching AI-generated footballers — perfect machines, but lacking a bit of soul. I'd take Vinícius, Kvara or Luis Diaz over that any day. They may be less efficient, but they play with instinctBellingham technically is nothing special at all. I don’t rate him but somehow he is effective. Like a mechanical cam.
Definitely. The levels of smugness already present in the British media is overbearing. They have been emboldened by England making the semis. The football world needs also to be saved from the English media. England to win 3-1.
Bellingham clearly mvp of the tournament so far with messi secondOh hell no
Kane... for scoring penalties???
If England win it should go straight to Bellingham.
He's carrying the team on his back.
There was already one such dominant player two years ago, who received five goals from Torino and Parma in the first two rounds and retired.Milan manager Ruben Amorim: "The quality of our football will be crucial because the Serie A is extremely demanding. We want to DOMINATE games and win, with players who are strong in one-on-one situations."
"We have many objectives ahead of us. I won't make many promises, our actions will matter most. There will be obstacles, but we want to be ambitious. I love Milanello; it's an exceptional place. My experiences, including the mistakes I've made in the past, have made me a better Coach."
I think he will get 5/6 i.portant players. That's fair and enough. 2 cb's, fullback, midfielder, no.9, trequartista. There was already one such dominant player two years ago, who received five goals from Torino and Parma in the first two rounds and retired.
In order to fulfill Amorim's fantasies, Milan needs to completely update its midfield and lateral corps.

However kane goalscoring record for 25/26 just too great to ignore, couple it with england wc performance then thats the main ingredient for a balon dor recipient.
Let’s hope neither one of them win the World Cup or the Balon D’or can you imagine the gloating from the British media. They would never let anyone forget it.Bellingham clearly mvp of the tournament so far with messi second

Ah yes, another season of trying to win 1-0 at San Siro against Pescara with the ugliest possible football.Dominate games... oh no hahah. WIN games... that's what you do in serie a.
You don't reach the levels Yamal has without an incredibly high football IQLol, had no idea about Palestine flag. Who cares about a place that doesn't exist anyway.
Point being, Barca prodigies are dime a dozen. Bojan, puig, enso fati. All were promised to be next thing and yet la masia hasn't produced it since Messi. High rise quick fall, their knees usually don't hold up unless you give them the Messi growth hormones.
The next 'world class' is Olise in my book.
If we're talking about 'football IQ', look at Pedri at age 21. Already performing consistently for Barca and Spain.
Cubarsi is 19 as well ffs. Despite not being fast or bulky has shown awareness and understanding of potential threats by France. Has contained Mbappe, Barcola and Duoe, who crushed previous defences.
Yamal, who was impressive in CL as well, has dribbling ability, speed, and technique. Hasn't shown anything that relates to understanding football at a high level, and time will tell if he will.
Yamal, let me repeat, has had a disappointing WC before this match, a sentiment which I believe dear Massaro also shared and forgot, and hasn't exactly scored a brace/hattrick today. Was lucky to have senior citizen Digne in front of him to abuse, and a mediocre Lacroix to deal with, because given that Saliba would've been on the pitch, France's defence wouldn't look like Sunday league level.
There's a reason why, after the 15' minute mark, all threats and goal situations came from France's left side, and it isn't because Yamal suddenly unlocked his 'limitless' brain capacity and became WC mid-match.
Its time to play fucking football. In every league its possible, but in Italy NOO! Come on, calcio is shit in last 10-12 yeras. Everybody need some changes.Ah yes, another season of trying to win 1-0 at San Siro against Pescara with the ugliest possible football.
Can't fucking wait
