I would pass on Foden

I liked him when he was on form but too many red flags for the cost

Don’t want another Nkunku

Might be overreacting, he was loved top to bottom at sporting

i mean my point was definitely impulsive and over-reactive.. no doubt there

and btw, at united, who's situation and club stature is infinitely closer to us compared to Sporting, he was hated from top to bottom. even competitor clubs in the epl saw what an idiot he was at united and how his own personality was what killed him more than his tactics..

& like i mentioned, at Sporting they had zero expectations and nothing to lose.. a bunch of youngsters who want to make it and have no other option but to listen to their coach.. a bunch of betas (or youngsters) can be led by a beta to win a beta league

but beta personalities cannot lead a bunch of alphas.. luckily, we don't have that many in our squad.. but this squad desparately needs some alphas for when the pressure is on and times get tough midway through the season, whether its the coach or some senatores... ideally, for a young squad like ours, we needed the coach to be it but Cardinale's talent in picking people led us here, let's see..

my point is that Amorim seems to think he's an alpha but everything he's doing looks that he's trying so hard to be something that he's not.. he would have never succeeded with players like Maldini, Gattuso, Ibra, Sheva, Seedorf, Cafu in the squad but times are different now

It’s not the same, United gave him a squad and told him to work with it

Milan are giving him a blank slate to shape however he wants for better or worse

As for the alpha and beta ramblings I’m not reading all that fr

Some of my favourite players have been Argentinian ( Crespo, Riquelme, Ayala, Aimar) so I've always had a strong affinity for Argentina. On top of that I'm Irish & my wife is German. Last night's result was always going to bring a smile to my face.
Big difference between the Argentina team of the players you afformentioned and the current one.

I respectfully disagree with this take. We can’t make make such conclusions after 1 press conference in his non-native language, and 2 training sessions where he’s trying to up the spirits in the camp after one of the most depressing seasons in decades.

Right now Amorim needs the support of Milan fans not a hyper critical view of his word choice and body language

i mean i did lead the argument (in my 1st message brk replied to) i was making by this:
...it is still extremely early however I've noticed something
and i ended it with this..
...it is definitely an impulsive and immature conclusion to make after just 4 days of training but..... we Milanisti have been thru a lot and we rightfully have trust issues...

so yes, you're right... I'm making an early assessment, thats too early... but I did the same on day of Allegri's appointment last year and I hate that I was one of the 1% that rightfully predicted Allegri destroying Milan on day one.. I predicted Fonseca's failure before he started too the year prior as well, judging from his experiences.. the difference from last year is that I judged Allegri based on what I seen of him in Juventus + Milan over a decade and a half, while with Amorim, it over his last week at Milan & his last year at Man Utd.. very different sample sizes, but nevertheless the same mechanism of of analysis.. my opinion is flexible though and will be refined a lot more by the end of the summer.. these are just initial impressions

there's a difference between saying I will not support him and what I am predicting to happen... i'm a Milanista, not a myopinionista like Sam & others, so I'll always be rooting for what's for Milan even if it goes against the narrative I predicted/imagined

The one night stands, especially in the disco era of the 70s, most of the times I didn't even know their names.

A little story: Usually late at night when you took a lady home and they invited you for coffee it meant sex. One time I was invited and started making my move and she refused so I asked her "why did you invite me for coffee if you didn't want to do it?" She replied that when she invited someone for coffee it meant coffee.

I apologized and left with no sex and no coffee.

You want the ref to give a red card in the 2nd minute and kill the game?

You know this is entertainment right?
would you be entertained if you go to play football and someone hits you in the head? then doesnt get punished for it, laughs at ur face and scores the winning goal afterwards? i know i wouldnt

Foden on the left
Brahim on the right
Icardi up top

Let’s create the insinge martens Oshimen version of our own.

2 midgets one striker up top.
You’re aware we’ve already signed “up top” for a record fee, right?

Real Madrid in addition to get a 50% future sale or pay back clause, get very good fees, not selling for free.
Yeah but Real Madrid sell Nico Paz or Mario Gila, not Victor Eletu to a Serie C club

Berlusconi and Galliani would be all over Foden if the opportunity came.

Ok but what’s that got to do with Foden

Idk I was pretty entertained, glad a highly anticipated match wasn’t killed in the first minute

Good ref as far as I’m concerned

I never got into the CR7-Messi debate but now it's pretty clear to me that Messi is the superior talent. More of a team player, not as selfish as Ronaldo or only looking to score. Both of his two assists were with his off foot, the cross to Lautaro was sensational, perfectly placed. Could have dribbled, try to find space for a shot but made the right choice.

Athletes like Messi, Ronaldo, and Modric that can still contribute at their ages are very rare and their names will not be forgotten. Messi is not big or tall, neither were Pele` and Maradona, but is in the discussion for GOAT.
BTW, Pele` was only 5'7' but was a great leaper and scored lots of headers.

Yes.

So if we punish Argentina for their stupid mistakes, we are ruining the entertainment value but when less fashionable countries get penalized for these things, they're just being stupid and throwing away the game?

I'm sorry, brother. I love you, but I vehemently disagree.

This is supposed to be sport. Not the WWE.
