With all these players supposedly on the way out there’s alot of work that needs to be done between now and start of September. We’ll probably not look good the first few weeks of the season with the turnover in the roster so late in the transfer market.
In defense if Tomori leaves you’ll need 1 or 2 CBs for depth if the idea is to play with a back 3.
Still need a few mids as well with Fofana leaving. Right now its Rabiot, 40 year okd Modric, Comotto and maybe Musah (if hes not sold). That’s pretty weak.
Im guessing Saelemakers and Chuk are the right wing backs. They’ll need alefy wingback to pair with Bartesaghi since Estupido is getting sold.
Your attacking mids are Pulisic, Nkuknu and Leao. All injury prone. You’ll likely need another purchase in that area.
Maybe another CF to go with Ramos and Camarda since Gimenez is on his way out.
That all will not happening in 3 weeks time. If they manage to get Leao, Fofana, Rlc, Tomori, Estupinan sold, which will already take atleast 2 weeks (bcs they dont know how to sell players it seems) then we need to buy 3-4 more players the last week. Not happening.
I bet they will do some last week panic buys from mid table teams.
Rlc, Fofana, Leao, Musah, Estupinan should be sold already.
As far as the line up. I would use Chukwueze as backup right attacking midfielder. Buy El Ouadi for cheap, then you have Alexis and him for right wingback. If they somehow manage to get Spence, which will be very unlikely, that would be nice for left wingback.
I dont wanna see fking Bartesaghi another season as a starter and Chukwueze as rwb lol.
This idea with inverted wingbacks sound stupid and bad.
