Merkel isn't going to play. Also, i really doubt he is good enough.

He was liked due to his intelligence and calm-ness under pressure. How is adding him to the line-up over Seedorf or Pirlo going to change anything when what he is lauded for they have in abundance.

As far as I'm concerned the 4-3-3 system is crystal clear for us now and 9 starters are also clear. Only questions are Bonera or Zambrotta for RB and Flamini Boateng or Rino for third midfielder. They plus Sokratis Abate Seedorf Robinho and Pippo will all be important this season and have time to play. Rotation is a must for our players age and considering the amount of games.

2. creative enough, especially if kpb plays instead of ambro or flam. once ibra and dinho it will be very hard to stop us, not even inter are as defensively solid as last season, maybe only chelsea could be confident of keeping us out as it is.
3. defensively solid, unlike most other options. which is just as, if not more, important than having a great offense. it's better to win 1-0 than to lose 3-2, and if we allow good teams to get straight through our midfield like two newly promoted teams just have, that's what we are going to get.

I like this. Except I would field Dinho before Binho. But if Dinho will be lazy again, I would bench him and try Binho.
I think that Allegri should already know that Ibra failed at Barca cause he played as CF. He should not make the same mistake as Guardiola did.
Pato has got the speed of someone that should play winger but his crossing and passing aint that good. But this year seems like his scoring abbility is better than last years, and I think than when he first came here was supposed to play as CF. It worths a try at least.

I'd prefer that in the league, but in the UCL I'd prefer a well rested Ambro..

yeah that starting 11 rocks, tough in the midfield with pirlo to create and awesome everywhere else as long as papa can become a strong right back.

dinho over robinho everyday of the week currently, i like having robinho on the bench because id say he would do better coming from the bench than dinho would.

and the post above, ambro rocks when hes rested, remember the game against madrid, he made kaka look silly some times and was on him all night, so he can still perform when rested.
