i am also playing on laptop ... I moved my game from E:Games to Drogram Files/Konami/Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 and then installed the patch and its working fine.
P.S i manually created the 'program files' folder in 'D:' drive

i am currently using pesedit patch 1.3 which is pretty good but it doesn't have serie b
