If we win all the games which were postponed we will be one point out of the top 4.

by the time we have played the games in hand we will have played fiorentina which is on the 2nd feb the last game in-hand on the 13th feb against livorno. so if we can win that we will be 4th by the 13th as long as we can win all our games which wont be easy.

FORZA MILAN!!!

Players in Friendly's Next Week

I talked about this with the Italy NT players in the Italian Football Thread, but yeah, a lot of national teams playing Wednesday. With how our schedule's been and players look, I wouldn't mind the extra rest for our guys, but the next Serie A game after that is Siena at home, what do you think as this as a time for some rest? Can we afford to take it lightly?

I'm guessing Kaka is going with Brazil? He has seemed tired to me lately.

Juve top ‘corrected’ table Tuesday 5 February, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

La Gazzetta dello Sport has created an alternative Serie A table where refereeing errors are corrected and Juventus lead the pack.

As controversy rages over alleged ‘favouritism’ in Inter’s favour and confidence in the officials plummets, a survey was undertaken to see which sides have suffered the most at the hands of the referees.

Research showed that Milan had been treated most harshly and would be sitting in fourth place, were it not for questionable decisions.

Inter were awarded eight points fewer after review and lose their supremacy at the top to Juve, who have benefited six times from errors but been unjustly penalised on nine occasions.

La Gazzetta dello Sport’s Serie A table:
Juventus 48 points
Inter 45
Roma 45
Milan 41
Fiorentina 36
Atalanta 33
Palermo 28
Sampdoria 28
Udinese 28
Napoli 27
Genoa 26
Reggina 25
Lazio 24
Livorno 23
Catania 21
Siena 21
Parma 19
Torino 18
Cagliari 16
Empoli 15

+ we have a game in hand...

if the refs have ben doing us favours like they have to inter so far this season, and if inter were damaged like we were,we could`ve been leading, and inter would be 4th probably..

Interesting... Milan had been treated most harshly hmm... Milan are also Inter's direct rival... people can draw their own conclusions

I just read that article. Very aggrivating but theres nothing we can do about it. With that table we could still win the league.

From 20 teams, only 5 would remain with the same amount of points (Roma, Palermo, Sampdoria, Napoli and Parma). Only 25%.

And look at Reggina, they would be far from relegation zone.

Like you care?
I can't be sure if someone else has already mentioned this, but at this moment we stand second in the goals conceded-standings :D Inter( ) has 12, while Milan has 16. So even after all the slip-ups and whatchamacallits our defense has stood strong :) And who should we thank?

IMHO, Nesta, the man :proud:

With the exceptions of a few games, KALADZE has been pretty consistent too. True with MALDINI too with the exception of INTER game.

On the contrary ODDO had been horrendous.

Wow, after looking at the scores, we really messed up our season with the tie to Livorno and especially the loss to Atalanta. If we would have won the Atalanta game we would be only 1 point behind Fiorentina and not been so nervous going into our last 10 games. I fear that if we lose or tie this week to Samp and if Fiorentina wins, it will be all over for Milan. This is a massive week for us. We have to root heavily for Napoli as well because they can definitely beat Fiorentina.

According to my prevision, (disclaimer : my previsions usualy suck) we win from Samp and Fiorentina draws in Napoli, bringing us back to -2 points, at the same time I expect a miracle from Empoli vs. Juventus (0-0), that will bring us to -6 from Juventus (this will be important later)

why don't we sign Mourinho?

he s the best and free.
our problem is not only with the team. our main problem is ancelotti.
i dont know why berlsconi loves Ancelotti.
if we sign Mourinho and ronaldinho and a good striker it ll be ok.

Milan and Inter commit to San Siro
Friday 18 April, 2008

Milan and Inter will continue to play at San Siro for another five years after agreeing a new lease with the local council.

There have been suggestions that one of the two sides may relocate to another site and build their own venue.

These whispers increased in intensity when Italy emerged as possible replacements for Ukraine to host Euro 2012, which would require the construction of new stadiums, but that possibility is now remote.

“Inter and Milan will stay at San Siro until 2013,” a statement from official Giovanni Terzi read.

“The clubs will work with the council to undergo work to make the Stadio Meazza a five star facility.”

The 83,000-capacity stadium opened in 1926 with Inter moving in to share the ground with Milan after World War II.

Damn it Merda, get your own Stadium.

that's better

i don't mind Inter using San Siro, it makes both sides dislike each other even more.

am i the only one who doesn't want Inter to disappear into thin air? who would we make fun of... :D

That sounds promising. A five star team needs a five star stadium.
