i think yesterday was one of his best performance this season. too bad he won't be available against atalanta since kjaer doesn't look like he has full 90mins in him.

Is it just me or was Romag pushing higher up with his pressing, just like Tomori has been doing?
It is like he is trying to copy Tomori but he failed to realize that you have to be very aggressive when you do that.

He just tried to stop the player from getting past him...

I guess he naturally picks up on the energy.

I also do remember when Kjaer arrived, Romagnoli become more aggressive/proactive in the first 3-5 games... which was refreshing to see ... unfortunately it dropped off after a while, as it?s not in his nature.

This dude even falls in slow motion. :D

If our management try to renew his contract then gazidis should go behind their backs and immediately start plotting a few departures and replacements

That first goal, he did horribly. A real good centre back would have tried to shield the ball with the upper part of the foot. Instead he slide on the wrong side and toe poked it towards the incoming player. These are the differences between a world class defender and an average one. If Nesta or Ramos were there they would have won the ball before the opponent and the GK.

My question is why Kjaer and Bennacer and Donnarumma failed to react in that moment that forced Romagnoli to arrive with that bad tackle?

I think Romagnoli saved us in many moments vs Spezia with very good blocks.

Not surprised with the rating, he was the one winning more defensive actions.

Nah, that's not your question.

Your question is the same as it always is when it comes to romaguire.

How do I deflect blame to someone else? But like our ale :proud: it's been deflected into us getting shot in the face.

Love those ratings where he's tied with dalot as our "best" defender

Deflecting what?

Bennacer and Kjaer waiting for Romagnoli to come from Theo’s side (he was trying to cover his player but he back-passed before Alessio’s arrival) to tackle for them because they couldn?t?

If I was in Roma’s place I would have left it on them, like they always leave things on him.

Bennacer is one of my 3 favourite players but he was so bad vs Spezia that I wanted Tonali to be in his place

Kjaer moved to cover the player at near post after romaguire got dragged out of position. The ball was cut across to the striker who made a smart run past bennacer but he came within romastoris tackling range.

Romanesta puts in the sliding tackle but unfortunately remembers who he is and turns it into an assist.

No amount of static pictures will help when the video of this flop is available in 1080 hd.

dalot wasn't even that bad. made number of blocks and tackles. theo screwed up big time in first goal but i don't blame him either trying to do something. our mid and attack were beyond shit.
