I meant Ibra's shadow not just in abstract/psychological terms, but also tactical. Pato should be liberated now to do his stuff on the pitch, but also be more responsible and imposing.
Yeah, but pato's a much more direct player.
He's fair more a future romario (if he's lucky) than ronaldo.
That's why he can kaka worked so well-
The second goal (which pato assists), reminds me of sheva.... a quick attack, where he got a FB isolated, 1 man to beat, and then driving at goal.
These goals strike me as to how you want pato to get the ball. On the move, driving at the defense.
Like it or not, ibraball doesn't do that. He dwells and then pato gets ball w/ 3 defender set almost from a standstill.
That and he must improve his off ball game. Because with his finishing he can pick up so many goals with no effort if he just reads better...
He's far from a complete forward like messi or... etoo, sheva or even neymar is becoming where he fits all systems. But if you put him in a system to his strengths, he can be a killer.
