What I find funny is this "we will never get anything for Pato".

I am sure if we could convince him to go to Russia Anhzi (sp) would pay big but even more realistically all it takes is one good summer with Brazil and his value will soar. We could even loan him to Internacional or some Brazillian team, let him rip it up and he would be worth more than probably everyone in Brazil outside of Neymar.

I didnt consider the first scenario since i found it ludicrous. I didnt see him making a difference in Brazil considering he will again play only a handful of games.

I agree there's been a dip in quality, but what should the mods do then? Because I can think of a number of people to "correct". You being one of them because from my perspective you're on Fred's nuts as much as he's on Pato's.

I see a lot of people getting annoyed with Fred whenever he slams Pato. When players don't perform they get slammed. Fred is getting his hits in while it's justified. He obviously doesn't like the kid, or he doesn't like something about him or his situation. This annoys a lot of people.

But moreso than that I see bitterness between a group of people because they've had a history of arguments. This leads to anger, which leads to hate, which leads to suffering. Sorry.

Seriously though, it's not one persons fault a whole forum gets a drop in quality. It's a collective effort.

Anyways, back on Pato. I think his injury, sad as it may be carries more positives for Milan than negatives. For the coach, for Robinho and for the youngsters. It might even be positive for the transfer market as well.

TBF B&G havent shown any signs of long term planning in most areas, its not just building a squad around ibrahimovic but also the complete incompetence of buying, bringing up any kind of young talent to the team.

I believe ibrahimovic will be sold anyway this summer if he chokes in CL again/will want to leave if the milan squad wont be up to par/up to his expectations. Hopefully with all these new owners spending big milan will be able to get a good amount of money and at least rebuild the midfield.

The more i think about this the more determined i am that the right thing to do is to cut him loose. Id swap him for tevez + 10 or any deal in that region or more. Theres a big chance Pato wont be playing CL any more this season and that was the only reason id like to keep him over tevez.

Id rather c him blossom somewhere else and curse that we let him go than to c him here beeing deadweight and hindring us signing much needed players cause of lack of cash. This is getting ridiculous with bad form and injuries.
