We should have sold him to PSG when we had the chance for 35 mil. Now we could get no more than 20. I think he'll leave anyway, either next year for a bag of peanuts, or year after that for free, when his contract expires. We paid 24 mil for him 5 years ago. With that kind of money he should have been close to Messi by now in terms of quality. He's only 2 years younger than Messi but look how Messi is doing breaking records all over the place and Pato is only breaking his legs. He's never gonna score 20+ goals in Serie A. Just sell him and cut the losses before his price drops even further.

I'm really not a hater, I loved the guy, I was really excited about him when he came to the club, thought that he's gonna become even better than Kaka for us. But his injuries destroyed him and I think that his potential is wasted. I still hope that his injuries will end and that he becomes one of the best, but I hoped in the past as well and look what happened. Out of 5 years he's been with us he was injured for 2 full years, ffs. If that isn't hopeless then idk what is.

Some of that comment was definitely rational, however much was just an opinion.
Will Pato ever be worth more than 35 million? One good season turns any player into that price bracket these days. SO will Pato ever be worth 35 million euro again.... IMO. 100% yes.

Patos story is well known, but everyone forgets how important he is when he plays. So much has been said about him that people have completely forgot, even though he may not be world class. He is an extremely good football player. No improvement is needed for him to be a very deadly striker. Only his injuries need to stop.
He is not Messi or ronaldo, and Ive never ever said or thought that. But again, this does not stop him from being a very good player. Best attacker we have. And disagreeing with that would take a lot of work.

ALso, my haters going to hate statement was more because If I didnt defend Pato here, there arent many of us who would. PATO is our hope.
In times like these, its an extremely nice thing to have. There are many players who should have hate directed towards them, but Pato isnt one of them.

Seems everyone wants to see the ROPASE attack. Honestly it makes so much sense that Id be extremely surprised not to see it within the next couple of weeks. And with urby/pazzini also available, we do have options for rotation or suspention.
