I've never encountered such a ruthlessly dedicated troll like Burlesqoni....and so specifically dedicated too :proud:
At least Congo occasionally posts something soccer related

Jumps in the middle of a heated convo simply to attempt to pick minor flaws in my or Pharoah's arguments and fails miserably.....he deserves legendary status along with the likes of Donkirk's (man above me), Sod Lod's (brain smartly) and MassterMark's deep attackinf formations :proud:

the thing i liked about mr,is he was very smart in the sense that he knew the perfect time to insert himself in a conversation, then begin trolling.

This guy is still an amauter

Only problem here is both of you, in a wierd state of paranoia have decided that I am trolling.
Calling out all your rambling nonsense for what it is can hardly be seen as trolling.

On the contrary, considering the amount of incoherent mumbojumbo the two of you supply on a daily basis could and should be considered trolling in my opinion, as it does infact agonize the mind of any sane human being.

You mean he's more professional now that he is in Brazil than he was at Milan, and thats why he isn't getting injured anymore? that makes no sense from any angle. how do you know what kind of life he has right now, and what kind of life he had at Milan? What I know and is obvious, is that Pato is one of the fittest players out there and hes taking care of his body well now as he did at Milan.

Was Ronaldo immature? Ronaldinho, Romario? Maradona? All of this guys did much worse than Pato in the department you are blaming him for, and it had nothing to do with their football.

How is Pato prioritizing his personal life over his professional life? by not keeping his levels of fitness? The guy is one of the fittest players out there. Is he skipping training or being late? never. Did he ever go against his coach or throw a tantrum? No.

all this is just your personal observation based on Pato's style of playing, the fact that he smiled on the stands after getting injured on the pitch (ultimate sin!), and some tabloid speculation. If we were picking players based on professionalism, you'd beg for Pato to come in Balotelli's place, but you don't, don't you?

Stupidity of epic proportions. What difference does it make if shes in Latin America and I'm in Europe? I can watch Brasileirao whenever I want, and I watch it. is she going to the Pacaembu to watch games? if not, it makes no difference whatsoever on what continent she lives.
Fuck you Ronaldo9
Satellites don't work in Europe dumbass. :fp:

@ ragazza,i dont like your sudden change in arguement. An accusation is a accusation,as leaf said, one can state their opinion but the minute you come up with blasphemous arguements like rehab, coke and your only evidence is he-said,she-said by your "source",it becomes liable and slander. However, obviously no one can sue you for such matters but it does diminish ones credibility in the forum,as it rightfully should. What your doing is giving senator and people who make similar arguements,a get out of jail free card

Honestly I dont see how Pato's personal life and alleged drug use is important at all

it is simple as this-

when he was healthy, he scored a ton of goals

he missed a lot of time due to injury

that is pretty much the story on Pato. there are not tons of stories about him being lazy (unlike Balo for example, fair or not) or even partying more than any other professional player.

he had a horrible run of injuries, but was never really out of shape... he kept working on it.

as time went on he started to lose confidence in his body and that screwed with his play. now that he is staying healthy and starting to regain confidence his form will return in time.

I think a lot of people's issue with Pato is that they were convinced that he would be on the same level as Messi and Chrissy and that didnt happen. But just because he will more than likely not ever reach that kind of level, that doesnt mean that he still cant become a WC striker if he stays healthy

Here is the core issue, Leaf made an argument based on the difference between opinion and accusation.
And now the both of you accuse me of trolling, how could I not interpret that as contradictory to the whole argument turning all his rants void?

Because you see, I personally consider those statments as not only accusatory but also slander.

Minor flaws Leaf says, the base of his argument I say.

does pato even know what senatore said about him

anyway it wouldn't matter if pato was smoking crack with mayor Rob Ford and Tyrone Biggums and having mental breakdowns after a paper cut. just as long as he scored 20 goals a season we would all be kissing his ass :proud:

Arsenal made a bid that was rejected.

Let's see if they follow up with a bigger bid

Good foer wenger if hes able to get the drop of talent thats left in patos little glass body, but what a waste for anything above 15. On one hand it would basically make them win the league,on the other, they could waste 15m when they can get someone cheaper...like ba.

Itll be there version of a matri purchase

he has been healthy. When he was healthy here, he produced. He dominated Inter and Napoli to propel us to our last title. With health his form will return.

With Ozil setting him up, I could really see him scoring 10 goals in the second half

The whole idea of getting a new striker to help Giroud is we need someone reliable. Sure you cant predict injuries. But getting someone as injury prone as him is asking for trouble. I much rather we get Morata on loan and buy a proper striker in the summer

no injuries this year. That was MilanLab garbage.

He is worth the risk. If he stays healthy, he is easily a "proper striker"

plus he can play CL

He was. People always say players can improve. But for some reason player regression is not something alot of people mention. Pato is not the player he was. We need someone who can contribute right now and we can do much better than hope for Pato of few years to turn up. Give me a Doumbia or a Mitroglou and Im happy.

Hes easily worth 15 million, he has literally all the tools, age is on his side, hes injury free and in the right environment he will be worldclass. Arsenal is tactically a great team for him and Wenger is a great coach to mold him. People here are talking as if its some 35 year old. dont buy in senatore propaganda, Pato has no problems with his attitude, his style of play may seem nonchalant but he wants to win as much as anybody.

honestly, I dont think the goal totals mean all that much. He is scoring at roughly a 1 in 3 rate. Which is decent. Not great, but decent.

On the other hand, Corinthians is not a great team for team, as far as style of play goes. Not direct enough.

That being said, he has been healthy, which is the big deal. And he is showing flashes of his old ability, and is even scoring FKs.

At the end of his time in Milan, he was playing scared and not trusting his body to not get hurt, which, ironically, helps lead to injury. As the confidence in his body returns, the form will come back, especially if he goes to Arsenal and has some great players setting him up.

He didnt really regress, he got injured and kept coming back too soon and getting injured again. Like I stated above, this past year has been about regaining his trust in his body. His form can return, especially with a coach like Wenger

Henry "regressed" at Juve. How did that turn out?

so scoring 1 in every 3 games in a inferior leagueto you is decent? So if balotelli was sold to a serie b team and scored 1 in every 3 games hed be a decent player?

Arent corinthian fans booed him on several occasions?

who was the better milan striker......alexandre pato or jon dahl tomasson

they both won 1 scudetto....pato scored 14 goals in 10/11 playing with ibra and robinho and jdt scored 12 in 03/04 playing with sheva and kaka.

they both won a supercoppa during the summer after their respective scudetto.

BUT...jdt also won italian cup in 02/03 (during which he scored 4 goals) and a small thing known as the champions league in the same year (he had 3 goals)

jdt missed some playing time because he was behind some really big names in the totem pole of strikers during his time here...sheva/inzaghi/crespo. with that being said though, he averaged 38 appearances per year during his 3 year stay here

pato missed alot of playing time because his leg muscles were identified by doctors to be made out of the same organic tissue as hymen.

pato had more appearances and goals

jdt had a better scoring ratio and more trophies

who is higher on the historical totem pole?

Technically and physically Pato is among the best. Hes not the biggest fighter in the world, but then again many werent, and its not as if he is someone who is taking the piss otherwise he would have never got to this level. This arsene guy is talking out of his ass and just following the mainstream narrative, probably hasnt even seen Pato play at Corinthians.

Henry was a professional and serious footballer who had hunger. Also wenger knew him for years and worked with him at Monaco. So he knew what he was getting

again, it is meaningless. The team doesnt match up with how he plays. Ibra did not score more goals in Barca than he noramlly did in Serie A even though it is an easier league to score in. The team didnt fit him.

Cavani didnt score as many goals at Palermo as he did at Napoli because of how they used him.

Goals scored is a partially a matter of fit.

and yeah they have booed him. So what? They expected him to score every game when her came over for a big price tag, and whenever he misses, the fans go nuts and get angry. Meh, everyone misses the goal at times. He also took a bad PK that knocekd them out of a competition. So the next game his team won a PK and he took the ball and hammered in the game winner.

The form will come back in time.

And going to a team where he would have Ozil and Co. feeding him the ball with a coach that is great at building up player's confidence he will be good to go.
