Marty Supreme.

Chalamet is like a prime Pacino. Support cast sublime as well. Very interesting characters there - fatrickewing, the homeless dude with the voice who went viral, Kevin OLeary playing himself, Gwyneth's role and real life ...

Finally saw Barbarian. Sublime. Like it more than Creggers latest - Weapons. Anyway, go in cold. If you're in a mood for horror/mystery - put this on.View attachment 57568

IMO Chalamet is trying too hard. After he got his breakthrough in Call Me by Your Name, he's been trying to shed his image of aloof-dreamy-vulnerable-sensitive with tussled hair trapped in awkwardness by appearing in too many movies trying to showcase he's got talent by playing multi-layered character with complex personality.

He (and Adam Driver, Jesse Plemons) is on the way to greatness but comparing him to prime Al Pacino at this moment is a bit too soon. Prime Pacino in 72-76 starred in Godfather, Serpico, Godfather 2 and Dog Day Afternoon; all considered classic.

After he got his breakthrough in Call Me by Your Name, he's been trying to shed his image of aloof-dreamy-vulnerable-sensitive with tussled hair trapped in awkwardness by appearing in too many movies trying to showcase he's got talent by playing multi-layered character with complex personality.

Have you caught Marty Supreme? He is crazy here, sth like Scarface or Heat* young Pacino just going for the juggular. A hustler/dreamer with minimal touch to reality. If some of the promo has put you off or make conclusions - seeing the character gives a better understanding.

* - I know its not the most cherished as a performance and the fact the detective was cokehead eas left out of the movie so it dont work too well as a reference

Read good review on Marty Supreme and it was highly recommended. Will try to find it, got some back-logged movie tittles I need to clear up with so few little time around

Sublime. Tho available on pirates, really deserves the big screen. Big tumblr shit, the juxtapositions and what a coreography during THE SCENE. (when the volume is turned to 11) Wanted to move from side to side clapping. Park Chan-wook, man.

(reading from other people that they did feel sound a quite loud , i only thought it was good and tailored after the criticism of previous films)

Saw The Odyssey in IMAX yesterday, 6/10 for me - primarily for the locations and scale of production but too Hollywood for me. It’s not true to the source material and here I am not referring to casting criticisms but the transformation of even the principal character from Homer’s poem - they removed the hubris and replaced it with redemption, just like the false narrative we see from those guilty of present day hubris. One of worst Nolan films, for me

Hell yeah. If time and stuff suits i will probably go for round 3. I see a lot of people going for multiple times - is it just because the algorithm knows has learned how to feed them or is this segment higher than usual? And batsdune hasnt even started yet?

I'll be seeing it on the regular screen due to better ticket availability, plus a medical condition in which really loud noise causes me to experience dizziness. The IMAX showings out here are all sold out for the time being anyway. Either way it'll be my first time back in a movie theater in an entire decade.

Great comedy. From play to screen to Hollywood. There's also a korean version and Estonian version on the way. Great stuff
