couldn't help but be a bit mad that he didn't play his last season with milan like he did yesterday though. totally different player.

spacing and team concept matters.

He's playing same he always has, imo. Smart, controlling etc.

I think most understated factor is simply, how much better italy and juventus move comparative to his last couple milan teams (static... slow).

But then again, it's also pretty obvious point. If your best tool is 'the pass' you need to have players to actually pick out.

sort of more down to positioning on field.

he's more b2b for italy and juventus. In milan, since we were so centralized (i mean how many central Attacking mids did we play) by default he played really deep, literally on the back line.

but thats more a complaint ive had for years. Pretty much since 2006 world cup, i've wanted milan to re-build it's midfield in image of italy and build it 'around pirlo' if you will. It never happened. If anything he was marginalized more and more w/ unnecessary signings which never fit.


Thats just way i saw it, a waste of resources. But hey, berlusconi is gonna do what berlusconi wants. When I buy my own football club, i'll do the same

Now, the Istanbul disaster is a complicated situation. It was a freakish incident that happens once in a million, and a lot of factors contributed, like the whole team relaxing, Liverpool's fighting spirit, luck, Gerrard's dive, Dida's howlers, etc...



AND the genuis of the Maestro (I'm NOT, by all means, blaming him ONLY, but yeah he was a reason). Our midfield was generally lightweight, and because Liverpool were pressuring us, and our DM doesn't defend (he's too busy orchestrating ) they were able to grab three goals in six minutes.

First goal: Pirlo was standing, could have jumped to stop the ball, but didn't. (for the member who was saying he doesn't need to have good jumping ability).

Second goal: It was a shot from a distance. Who should pressure? The DM! But Pirlo is not any DM, you see, he is the "deep lying playmaker", all he has to do is to "orchestrate". You can actually see Seedorf running his ass off pressing on Smicer, while Pirlo is just jogging as usual.

Third goal: Gerrard's fucking dive. Who was following him? The king Rino Gattuso who was giving his all. Unlike a certain Pirlo who was too busy to give a fuck. Just jogging by himself outside of the penalty area.

First goal: Pirlo standing there just like in Ashish's signature, not applying any pressure while he is close to the opponent and he is about to score, but who cares?! He's Il Maestro... His position is a DM but he isn't supposed to defend!

Then Depor waste two clear chances, while our whole team is defending for their lives EXCEPT il grande maestro who is jogging around, standing out of the penalty area doing absolute fuck all.

In the second half there is a golden chance gifted to Depor since Il Maestro was "orchestrating" in front of the penalty area and lost the ball under pressure.

He was then subbed after causing enough damage.

I can tell you why i hate ronaldinho.. it was Kaka' v Ronaldino those days and i am a huge kaka' fan so i was against ronaldinho. Still if we got the ronaldinho barca had 03-06, i would have loved him after he joined milan, but we didn't get that dinho.

I was reading different football sites this morning.There's so much praise for Pirlo( and rightfully deserved) and that makes me so angry.

Everybody appreciates the genius this guy is, and the fact that there's Milan fans who cant appreciate it is beyond madness.

I for one hate his guts out, because i feel cheated that he left us for Juventus.I understand the part were Galliani and Allegri dicked him over, but Juventus?Why not go to Chelsea or Barca whoever wanted him.

Milan really needs to get rid of G, his such awful team manager.He managed to loose Sheva,Kaka and Pirlo.

And to people who say we lost them because of money reasons.Dont you think other teams have the same problem with there players also?But they have a good buisness model, and are capable of offering players the money they ask for.

A world class player rarely leaves a team that can pay him well and constantly challenges for titles.This is all Gallianis fault for fucking up Milans financial state so badly.
