Antonio Nocerino and Pablo Armero will stay at West Ham once their loans end in the summer, but the news isn’t so good for Marco Borriello.

All three have spent the second half of this season with the Premier League outfit, to varying degrees of fortune.

Nocerino and Armero have played 10 and five times, respectively in the top division this term for Sam Allardyce’s men, whilst Borriello has come off the bench just twice.

As such, The Sun report that the Milan and Napoli loanees will be bought outright by the east London team at the end of the campaign, whilst the Roma striker will be allowed to go back to the Italian capital.

Rubbish source, but thought you should all know. It seems reasonable, and perhaps West Ham is waiting for Matri instead of Borriello.

West Ham are kings of buying failed signings/fodder of other clubs.

Carroll, Downing now Matri, Nocerino. Give them Traore too :D

Hope he stays too. Of all the fodder/redundant players in the squad, Nocerino always seemed like an affable fellow and a good chap. Very limited player but busted his ass for the team, which I respect.

Did he really say he doesnt want to be a burden? whao if true, what a guy, I hope he can stay there.

Honestly let him go for free if we need to, but I can see him being worth a few million, either way, good luck Noce if you can get them to take you.

You seem like a great guy but dont come back. Itll be painful for you, and for us.

he says he will leave West Ham, for sure he's coming back. We'd either sell or loan him out.

I think they were fined for making these 2 transfers illegally...u know, South America and their system were random companies own players.

Palermo is back in serie A. That could be a good news. They'd need to strengthen.
If he makes a great effort to reduce his wages to go to a club he loves and I think they love him too...that seems to be the most realistic option at the moment.

As far as useless players go, I'll say it again, Nocerino at least tries. If he was our 25th man next year and played almost exclusively as a sub from the 75th minute on whose job it is/was to run at people with full intensity, chase, scream, and cause chaos with fresh legs, then he'd be pretty good at his job. The problem is that people expect his fluke season to be normal.

Sorry, i disagree with you, I would rather let Cristant + Poli start in his position at any time and in any case!

We need to build a trust relation with our youth system and get him into our first team.

Next season will be the PERFECT occasion to maintain the new Milan cycle plan as per the claim of our management.

No need to apologize for disagreeing! I would rather see Nocerino go, but as far as the glut of useless players we have, he is the only one I wouldn't mind staying. If he stays, he would an exclusive sub whereas I view Poli as a starter and Cristante as a rotational piece.

Here are four usless CMs. Assuming one HAS to stay, who is your choice?

Muntari - 1.5 M
Nocerino - 1.5 M
Essien - 3 M
Traore - 1.2 M

Kind of scary to see it all laid out...

Definitely Muntari. He's a player who CAN perform up to level unlike current Essien, Traore and Nocerino who just don't have the ability. On 1m wages, Muntari isn't all that bad of a backup to have.

Essien on 3m, holy shit G..

It is very scary. 4 useless CMs  If we can get that number down to 2, I would consider our mercato to be a success.

As much as I hate him, Muntari is capable of having big games. Traore is pure trash. Noce is not much better except he is at least good for morale. Essien is just :fp: and injury prone. It's such a typical fail move that EVERYONE saw coming except for :g:

They didn't really signed them. Their manager owned them and used West Ham to promote them. It isn't unusual that club players like that. Sometimes managment firms cover salaries as well. If not for West Ham taking them they would have ended in other team in EPL.

Muntari. Muntari has shown up here and there, Noce hasn't be able to do much of anything since a certain Zlatan left.

Traroe and Essien are just slaps to the face of supporters.

i agree with you.he is the last to be sold out of those.but due to the lack of any significant skill(no dribbling, average passing,0 tackling ) he should be deployed only as a substitute and ofc he shoud half at least his wages.

another intresting thing about your 'list' is that if we offload all of them(they combined played around 20 games this season) for lets say 6-7m along with their wages we could save around 20m.which is a good amount to cover the transfer and wages of a reasonable good cm.and we ll have ndj monto cristante poli ,new cm (even honda can play cm) , maybe fossati if he returns as a 6th player, which is pretty good depth for a two man midfield.

I just imagine Nocerino in this role, which is valuable as a sub:

I would definitely say Essien and Traore should be the first to go, their wages are wayyyy out of wack.

Noce is about as useless as you can get. He shouldn't even be credited for having a good work ethic. He's never been better than mediocre, but I don't remember him being this useless in Palermo or before he "made it" in Milan..

Muntari often acts headless, but he has provided stability to our 3 man mid and has talent, unlike Noce. Wouldn't mind as backup.

I didn't know their wages but seeing it laid out to me says that either Muntari or Noce should stay and Essien and Traore should 100% leave. 4.2M between Essien and Traore for 0 contribution?? So dumb, this is the shit we need to get off the books. I used to love Essien and he's still a personal favorite of mine, but everyone can see he's done, definitely shouldn't have bought him and definitely shouldn't keep him. And traore.... yeah...

If we do offload Essien and Traore like we should (which means we wont of course...) then for a 3-man mid we'd have DeJong, Monty, Poli, Cristante, Muntari and Noce. That's good enough, but once we get our CB and Management situations fixed we should upgrade Muntari and Noce.
