Is there a more utterly useless player than this guy?

I mean, other than his goals once in a while he provides absolutel nothing

Muntari should be above him in the pecking order

People bash Ambro a lot on here but playing Noce next to him sometimes makes him look like DDR or something. Ambro is technically so much better midfielder especially on ball and having him in the side against Barca is going to be the least of our worries if Noce starts.

Your post is another proof that Americans don't know shit about football. Nocerino and Ambrosini are mediocre Italian players, they never look like De Rossi or something.

Is comprehension an issue for you? By comparison when played together the technical gap is so big between them it's astounding. Obviously Ambro is not WC but the level of Noce's limitations makes it seem so when they're played together.

No, they don't. Ambrosini still is a washout, but okay, Nocerino is even worse.

How can you whine about a player who cost you < 1 mil. and is 2nd top scorer in the team?

Ambro at times sprays balls around in ways that Nocerino can only dream of which is quite sad because usually all he's doing is basically getting the ball to advanced players in good positions on the pitch, you know, like any decent midfielder is supposed to be capable of doing.

I am in two minds about Noce, he has scored a number of crucial goals. But other than that he doesn't really contribute much to the team in terms of build up play, defence etc. I would be happy to have him as a squad player, but definitely not as one of our starting midfielders.

And I agree. He shouldn't be a starter, and he isn't. He's only playing because there are so many injured players, and while filling the gap (for 600K euro, right?), he also scored 9 goals. You really need to be grateful, not bitching.

Actually, he is starter even with full squad. Again, the goal threat makes it hard for Allegri not to start him even in big games. The goals have also given Noce a sense of comfort and security, he feels assured of his place now and this is probably why his work rate isn't as high as earlier in the season when he was trying to prove his worth.

I agree to a point! I dont think he`s necessarily not trying to work hard, just think he`s burnt out. He`s playing since the begining of the season and is probably toning down.......Has probably played the most matches in the squad(dont qoute me not sure).

RIP Totti
I think up against half decent teams he is ineffective, he gets shut down and his lack of brains and passing abillity is exposed

Good vs shit teams though

Imo gave us the monies worth 9g`s and I wouldnt be upset if he faded into the background for the rest of season. For his cost he put in his work and doesnt deserve to be bashed, just tolerated for the rest of this season but next year is a new story.

You're right, it's just that a big and fast approaching CL clash makes some, such as myself, more critical as the he'll likely be way beyond his depth and it's such times where you wish we had better players.

It's pretty sad that at one point people felt he wouldn't be displaced as a starter in our midfield for years to come, that he was some sort of solution. (I remember serious discussion about whether Monty would be above him in the pecking order lol) It's kinda sad some feel that way about Urby now as well. Both are good squad and utility material, nothing more. These are the kinds of players we trot onto the world stage and get laughed off for doing so.

In Serie A though, his goals have been crucial but as you say, they shouldn't guarantee him anything moving forward.

Some players just can't score easy goals, as Noce proved vs. Arsenal and Roma. BUT, he has found the target 9 times from more difficult positions. He is a work horse, and I'm happy to have him in the starting XI.

...btw, he's valued at EUR 9mill now :D

He already had that value when Milan bought him, Mr. Maldini.

Agreed.

Noce. Has scored some solid goals this year for us and I couldn't have asked for anything more then that, being how much he cost from palermo..he is a workhorse, just as muntari is and boateng..I fully enjoy having noce on the team and hope for an even better seasons to come for him..love how everyone around him is getting injured but week in and week out he's in our starting 11. Injury free.

You love that everyone gets injured and Nocerino stays healthy? There is no proper facepalm for this. Believe me, no one would miss Nocerino on the field.

easy to take something someone says and misinterpret it..I meant it as in, he seems to be one of the only players we have that can stay healthy, as everyone else around him can't play a string of 2-3 matches before being out..and keep your meaningless facepalms, we are adults here, well, some of us are..
