I would not mind seeing Bennacer dropping deep behind Krunic and Tonali in the midfield. With Krunic playing I believe Tonali and Bennacer will get themself back on track in no time.

Against Fiorentina it was lost and chaotic in our midfield because we tried to play double pivot with a deep-lying playmaker. The double pivot was never complete and the deep-lying midfield was also exposed to pressure, busy fighting for the ball.

Honestly, unless Leao is playing there is no point playing 3 up front. One extra man in the midfield makes so much more sense when Leo is missing. Without Leao we know we are not gonna create enough threat anyways. Giroud, CDK, Rebic was a laughable choice. Just play Giroud + Diaz/Rebic/CDK when Leao is missing. Two up front and we play long balls to Giroud. That's it.

Since we will play a deep line and for his experience in organising the defence - it’s correct to play Kjaer. Would prefer Thiaw over Fik but Pioli will 100% go for Fik. Hope he doesn’t try too hard and fucks up again.

if krunic Benna and tonali play I assume Theo and Messias will get to bomb up a lot.

Seems like we’ll be under pressure for large parts of the game the way we setting up. We need to be smart on the counter and neeeed leao to play for the team tomorrow and not just to impress his suitors or we are fucked

A season defining match!
Spurs and Milan are incredibly alike this season. Both teams are playing atrocious football but somehow still contenders for 4th spot.

Both teams suffered losses in the weekend.
Spurs looked okayish in their loss against Wolves, while we all saw how Milan looked at Fiorentina.

We have often performed when our backs were against the wall.
The dream scenario would be that we come out with all guns blazing like we did against Sassuolo in the Scudetto match last year and close the tie in the first half. Another scenario is we come out like we did against Sassuolo a couple of weeks back and we’re yet again played off the park.

This one is incredibly hard to pick.
But I think we’ll pull through in the end!
