I dont doubt his talent, but I hope he checks his attitude and returns to being more of a team player who facilitates the attack. At the moment he unecessarily overcomplicates things. The fact that the team is doing well and is winning should take pressure off of him but because he is being so self absorbed he can't seem to make the easily things work.

This is what it looks like when you contribute and follow the managers instructions despite not “playing well”

Tackling, pressing, winning duels, while also creating clear cut chances for his teammates. I can’t wait for him to hit his stride.

His problem isn't the time were he is on but the longish periods were he is off. Imo that's also part of the reason why he has some very good stats, apart from a good base level of talent, because playing overly safe or passive will reduce your number of fails but that doesn't help the team necessarily. Even failed attempts, lost duels etc can help in creating second balls, buying time in defense or letting the opponent feel the pressure.

he seems too stiff here. Needs to loosen up and just play his game, it's like hes trying to follow orders to the T but forgets to just play the game.

He'll improve though

I think CAM might have been a little too much for him given the teams current condition. He would have had so much less pressure at RW.

Not Worried about CDK at all, his progression will obviously come, he's showing the glimpses you want to see in a developing player.

Its hard, his 'superstar' transaction put a lot of pressure on him, he'll be come around next year. Pioli is making ajustments so he can fit him, you can clearly see him lost when on the field.

He was excellent last match, more than anything it seems he’s in good physical shape and understands where he should be better.
He had a beautiful turn and through pass for Salad, had two shots that should have led to goals if not for an excellent keeper, and generally participated well in the match. Never went missing. The biggest mistake was obviously his indecision when through on goal, he wanted to play it to Leao but should have just shot himself.

We need pato treatment Congo prescribed to make him aggressive.

Everybody was bombing from 30 m but he was too shy except that bomb.

He stopped a long ball so gracefully. Some flashes but he needs to improve

Been following Milan since he joined. Dissapointed that he still has not found his role.

That was the biggest question in Brugge as well; where the hell do you put this guy on the pitch? But in Brugge he did well because he got all the freedom he wanted.

Also he likes fast passing team play in which he assists or scores a tap in. No disrespect but I feel like many Milan players are big egos just running with the ball trying score a banger (especially Leao) and only give piss passes when they cant score themselves, except for Tonali which is the best player in your team (Correct me if I'm wrong).

You have many quality players but I feel like they don't make a team. If they would play as a team you would be first in Serie A. Also you have bad luck with all the injuries.

Exactly what I have surmised. In Milan most players hold the ball too long instead of playing quickly and simply. We play sideways instead of into space. He's having to learn how to be a bit part player, when he previously had freedom. Not an easy transition.

CDK at the moment takes very long to make passing decisions and does a lot of security passes. Obviously a confidence issue but he isn't exactly helping to create fast passing.

Passing and movement of the ball are team dependent. When no one is moving to the ball or space there is no one to pass to and vice-versa.

Giroud is quite static, saele can’t do shiit with the ball once he gets it and leao is basically just practising to improve his skills and impress big clubs for the future , not surprised Charles is not doing well.

Not comparing him to Pirlo obviously and they gave diff positions on the pitch but we had a similar issue when we let Pirlo go /van bommell played instead because there was a lack of movement in front.

Since the world cup break:

Diaz 5 key passes in 4 games
Pobega 3 key passes in 3 games
CDK 0 key passes in 3 games
Saele 4 key passes in 4 games
Giroud 6 key passes in 4 games

He just is to timid and scared, he probably has the highest base in terms of passing skills out of those players but he needs to stop playing alibi and start taking risks.

We are like that now, recently. But we used to play really fast progressive passing. It's a confidence issue (CDK in the extreme, and the team generally). Once we have a few good wins and he scores a few goals (or just one) things will unlock again.
