From what I have seen and read, it became clear that management decided that Seedorf was not the right man for the rebuild. The more I see of Seedorf, the more I get the AVB feeling. They get results with inferior sides, but so alienate the players around them and the members of the boardroom that it falls apart quickly.
Until Seedorf learns tact and humility, he'll never achieve anything as a manager. Confidence is great and necessary, but hubris is not.
I can't say that Inzaghi will become a puppet, and it's really unfair of us to brand him as such. He seemingly has a better capacity to work within the framework of this team and get what he wants in a better way. Bitching and moaning constantly to the media, behind the scenes, etc. is one way of going about things, but it seldom works.
Inzaghi has shown an understanding of bonding, winning, and flexibility, which is needed.
