Defense was sub par, but the scoreline makes it look worse than it actually is. Their 2nd goal was extremely lucky a failed attempt to shoot resulted in a perfect cross, and as for the 4th goal let's just say i don't remember seeing such a weird own goal from Milan. Considering we were playing with Bonera, and DES had an off game i see potential to have a solid defense once everything clicks, as we have seen in the lazio game.

Haven't had such good time watching this team in ages. We are probably going to get raped by Juve but who gives a shit haha no more boring Allegri excuses. No. But back in the day the threads weren't "official". If you put Inzaghi or Pippo in thread title search you'll get about 100 Pippo vs Gila vs Sheva threads.

Enthusiastic about Inzaghi so far. He has instilled a passion in these players. He still starts Bonera which makes no sense on any planet, nor in any plane of existence across the cosmos, but there's still time for him to come to his senses.

The biggest difference is Clarence was a manager for the talented players in the squad, whereas Inzaghi is better at motivating the group.

Jury still out, Clarence won a lot of points without a true transfer window, I'm not giving ANYBODY more slack than was given him because that would be bullshit.

Very true however Pippo acts more like a coach just dealing with whatever he gets and trying to get more of the group of players who doesn't even get to choose while others including Max and Dorf tried to run a club. You could see clearly when Max and old farts disagreed. I doubt Pippo would go public about stuff more like he knows his place in the club.
