We did not played well. But I am happy, it surely better than a great performance + draw result.
We were not good because Kaka and Rui did not play well.

That is about right. Nesta, Maldini, and Dida were all brilliant. Billy once again played the part too for his 20+ minutes. Other than Rino & Pirlo everyone else from the midfield on up played rubbish. How they could have given Seedorf a 6 is pure lunacy. I suppose the winning side has to have a certain number of 6's.

I guess, ANCELOTTI didn't wanna take chances for this game and probably would had told his players before the game that play too conservatively ... Means, just try to get a draw....

But LUCK is really on our side these days, in SERIE A especially...

Agree with PASSION, it would run out at some point.. But at the same token luck was against us when lost to BOLOGNA and draw against JUVE. In both of those matches, we should have won....

Likely to see what happens next.... But personally, I am not in peace unless and until we conclude the MANURE showdown, part II. Its really keeping me tenses. I just wanna get it over with.

So, given all the hoopla that is going on from last WEDNESDAY manure CL tie, I expected this was the natural conclusion of our level of play...

Frankly speaking, I think all the players are still worn specially from the emotion of the CL game, plus we got accolade all through the week... So...

I guess, that is what we get as the performance of our players... Plus, why did ANCELOTTI started some fresh legs like DHORASOO, BROCCHI and SERGINHO from the beginning giving KAFU, KAKA, SEEDORF a day off or rest...

Anyway win is a win... As I said before, we are very well placed in every front but can't rest in peace unless and until the CL match against MANURE is all over....

I agree with Passion's ratings between () except for Gattuso. IMO Gattuso is the one with the less efficient play in his recent matches. He has made some bad passes that gave Inter some good counter-attack. His contribution to yesterday match have been almost null except his shot (hmm...) fortunately deflected by kaka. His rating (5)!

I got sick from our play , specially from Kaka`s game yesterday ..the ball was afraid of him or he afraid from ball ? same ..

Berlusconi has right not to be satisfied , but considering the options we had for the line-up .. it went well.. and luck was on our side. Our midfield sucked.. and we didnt have atack at all , did Crespo touch the ball during the game?

we have to thanks this win to Dida , Nesta & Maldini , they were simply amazing .. when I think more .. we still menage to win games without playing good .. what will happen when we will be back in form? and .. what makes me more happy is that we broke their unbeaten run , now Crespo can say that this joy is better than orgasm not the goal againts Manchester.

Kakitto keept the promise gived to Sheva , he sucked all the game but ... scored

and I want to know what was going on with the cameras during the game, they sucked.. even when Milan scored they lost the sound & picture.. I dont know if that happened only at me or at all , and at the beggining of the game when RuiCosta was on action they started to zoom in and out the camera, stupid ..regiser of the cameras probably was drunked last night.

They deserved the win, but "deserving" is not the way you win matches, you win matches by scoring goals, and Inter's forwards sucked as badly as our midfielders!(I won't blame Crespo since he is one guy, and he needs midfielders to provide him something in order for him to do something)
I must admit that since we scored I kept looking at the clock since well, we all know what Inter is(was?) capable of doing when they were losing a game, but then their midfield also became crappy(just as ours), and Mancini subs didn't worked out well...so I became more confident.
Hopefully the guys will be able to have a more "calm" week, so that they recover well in order to give a better performance next game, and instead of having a "lucky" win, will be able to have a great game and a well deserve win.
Needless to say that at this stage I don't care how we play, as long as we go away with the 3 points.

Totally agree, maybe at the game against Atlanta next week we'll be able to produce our best. We better stop riding our luck and start giving a performance worthy of a champion.

Dhorasoo, Max, Brocchi and Pancaro will all be fresh for Atlanta and I believe Atlanta is not as challenging as ManU and Inter, so this shoud be the right time to field them.

Final point on the Milan derby. Nesta was close to perfect for the majority of the game. The natural heir to Maldini. What a performance!

Well at least we stopped Inter's unbeaten run. However, how deserved the victory was is open to discussion. Personally I feel we were a touch lucky to win but win we did. I am not surprised at our performance, we played so well in CL that it must be difficult for the players to producr the same form so shortly after.
