This why it hurts, it could have been strong start to the season and it would bring confidence to the team... But But...

i don't know about others but i am confident enough based on napoli performance. both our defense and link up with higuian will improve no doubt about that at all.

as I said, easy win for roma, two very good wins for them. Unless Dzeko gets injured, they should finish 3rd comfortably

Excellent goal.

I must admit I don't rate Duvet Zapata, but he's been good here. Lone frontman and responsible for both goal.

My god who was that Roma defender?

Slow as all hell. Looked like he should be playing for Roma Glorie.

Roma so slow in reacting/covering, cannot stand any kind of pressing, Atalanta should score atleast a couple of more goals.

We should be able to put few goals past them, then again they'll probably be way more motivated against us.

Atalanta is now a serious Serie A constant, I really hope that Gasp will get his shot at a big club next season. Be it Cristante or Kessie or Pasalic, he always gets maximum effort/result out of each player and that's what makes a great coach. If he's English he would probably already be their NT coach.

fuck sake

3-0 roma easy incoming

RnB football experts at work (dont take it the wrong way, just messing with you :) )

This was never going to be easy for Roma, but i am impressed with Atalanta.

This is literally their second team - even Pessina is starting (yeah, that one), and they are killing it. Could have scored 2 more.

How the fuck is Gasperini doing this?!

And now they get the third!

He can’t handle the pressure being at a bigger club. Remember inter?
He had 5 games there, and it was like 5 years ago... His Atalanta side is really entertaining and solid, they were unlucky in EL past spring also... If there's one coach currently at work in Serie A I would like here, it's him hands down. If he can get these kind of results with Atalanta consistently, I'm expecting him to progress even more with stronger/bigger team.

why isn't gasperini being discussed for bigger clubs?

He "failed" at Inter, which IMO doesnt qualify him as a bad coach.

Everyone can flop at a big club especially with Inter being Inter.

But i do have my reservation with him particularly because he found the perfect environment at Atalanta. He is great at developing talents and Atalanta has one of the best (if not the best) academies in Italy. Match made in heaven.
