Why would Flamini leave? Without him there will be no samba left in the team.

That feint he did will steal the highlights reel for the rest of the season.

@Milanello
Gazzetta dello Sport: Flamini and Traoré are set to leave. There are doubts about whether or not Boateng and De Jong will stay.

....I dont know if I should cry or laugh.

The club has become predictable and a huge joke and yes I do believe there are some truth in that rumor or whatever it is.

Why would Milan want to sell De Jong?

Didnt look too happy after the game when Allegri tried to shake his hand and he just ignored him.

it's like everyone against Allegri now..

this club is screwed up and replacing coach is the only answer for this crisis.

no motivation, players coming up late and no respect for the manager... this is the end. G should realize this.

Why would Milan want to sell De Jong?

It's not necessarily Milan/Allegri who want him out. I expected rumors about him being on his way out of the club because:

(speculations)
Nigel's POV:
things havent been the way Nigel thought it would be even though he expected a transitional year. He most likely didnt expect the team to struggle this badly, the squad to be this shitty, to play most games in dirty, empty stadiums, to be considered a flop signing by media and blamed for our bad results even though he has been good and he doesnt seem to have a good relationship with Allegri. Like I wrote earlier, he seemed angry and ignored Allegri when he tried to shake his hand. Him being benched or "rested" the whole game against Palermo was obviously not his own choice. One of the reasons he left City was to play more.

Also, it's pretty clear that one or the main reason he chose Milan was because of his friends, Boateng and Urby(and also Sneijder). I dont think he likes the way Boateng has been treated, or doesnt want to continue in Milan if Boateng leaves the club. Urby not starting that many games may also have made him dislike Allegri even more.

As for Milan's POV, they obviously bought him to be the lone anchor in front of the defense, but a double pivot system suits him much better, which Allegri seem to not like. He's also on pretty high wage(3m net) and the management being the idiots they are probably expected him to make a huge impact on the team, despite him obviously not being the playmaker we needed badly.

If this were to be true, then I blame bad research from both parts and a huge facepalm to the club.

With all due respect, I don't see a single fact this whole story is based upon except that he was benched against Palermo, which doesn't have to mean that he's going to be sold.

I also don't see how the club has treated Boateng badly or any sign that he's going to be sold anyway.

The only thing I don't understand is why De Jong didn't start vs Palermo, this is inexcusable if he wasn't injured.

And who said he was a flop signing? He's been great. Him and Montolivo as expected are by far our best signings and best midfielders. World class midfield partnership.

The only thing I can think of is Allegri keeping Nigel up his sleeve for Chievo and Malaga. IF Nigel has a problem with Allegri, then that's another player Max has lost....so what do you do? Obvious to us all except those that matter.

I don't think De jong and Boateng knew each other before Milan, where would they have become friends, they don't have any previous history?

Obviously he knew Urby from the Dutch team and I remember reading an interview with Sneijder where he said he ws trying to get Inter to sign him and that they are good friends.

I did say it's speculation:o

I dont think Boateng has been treated badly. Hell, I wanted him out before the season had even begun. But De Jong might see it that way.
There are signs that he(KPB) may be sold in January. Not evidence, but definitely signs. Not sure why you wouldnt agree on that.

I love De Jong and love that we signed him and he's in no way been a flop signing to me. One of the main reasons I want us switch to double pivot is Monto-DeJong is definitely comparable to other top team's CDM duos. But he usually get bad ratings for his performances by the newspapers and Sky picked him for their Horror 11. ******ed as fuck, I know, but it might've made the situation even more unbearable for him.

I'm basing it on De Jong's interviews(reading between the lines), what has happened on and off the pitch, the state of Serie A & Milan etc.

De Jong said so in an interview that he already knew Boateng and Urby before he joined Milan. Probably got to know him through Urby and/or Sneijder, who seem to hang all the time with Boateng. Maybe also through Jerome Boateng, who was his teammate in City.

That could be.

They say in Italy about both Sneijder and Boateng that they are "not leading the life of an athlete", guess they are on the same scene.

I would be extremely disappointing if De Jong left Milan. He's been one of our best players.

I really hope it's just some made up rumour.

Umm, nope.
They never claimed that we had already bought any of them, only that we may buy them and have shown interest, which obviously was the case with RVP and Rolando and maybe also with Alonso.

And they havent claimed that De Jong will get sold for sure in Jan, only that he may.

Out for a walk.
I think Nigel was late to training, so got punished. It's not surprising Gazetta blew that out of proportion. C'mon, guys, this is soccer journalism. Making up apparent BS is a given.

Allegri has recently stated that NDJ is a backbone for the future of Milan, so no need to worry about him.

Does it matter, really? I mean, I know it's stupid to buy him and not let him play, but I haven't seen him make a real difference on the pitch (except that one goal). He specializes in backward passes, and for a Gattuso replacement he realy isn't combative at all, but oddly enough still manages to commit fouls. Don't like his attitude. I don't get the whole De Jong situation, sure he's good, but clearly not better than Ambro or Montolivo and just doesn't seem to fit in...

Because max wants to make sure we're down in the gutter by the time G+B sack him! No other explanation for it. :o
