In all honesty, I haven't been impressed by him. I still think its unfair to bring him down cause he's adapting to the league + he has had some injuries going on, so no this isn't a knocking down post. That said I expected more of him, specially in defense. It's hard, to be honest to adapt to defenseive schemes, but there's just something that he's missing.

Monty is much more involved in our defensive game than him (and no its not because De Jong is focusing elsewhere, cause Monty is also much more involved in the attacking aspect), he needs to make his presence be felt more, tackle more, at times I feel he's afraid of getting carded so he doesn't tackle that much, eventhough he's position requires him to do more. He intercepts a little more, but still not enough for someone in his position.

He's just a limited player from a kick and chase league.

I don't know what to think yet. He's decent - but he's no Van Bommel. He doesn't contribute much creatively or offensively. I guess he frees up alot for Montolivo - I can't really complain.

I'll reserve judgement until I've seen :star: Muntari-De Jong-Montolivo :star:

This is the missing key to our stability. A no nonsense midfield that will neutralize any potential threat and break legs if necessary.

This is out best buy so far. It is hard to adapt playing in different formation and team mates each week. The guy is basicaly surviving and he does it while putting lots of effort. Also, remember that if not for more high profile players it was him playing DM for City and he did it good. I don't think we will see the best of him till next season though.

"What was wrong at Milan? We needed to understand the new tactical system, but it was changed often, so everything became more complicated."

"Milan is feeling well. We have worked things out in the last two matches - and hopefully for good. And Juve will find out that the real Milan have returned."

"When Van Bommel found out that I was joining Milan, he called me immediately. He told me things that I later found to be true: that the atmosphere is amazing, that everyone is positive. And that everyone, right from the president to the people who washes our clothes, is attentive to our needs.
Van Bommel told me that Milan is a family, and that is very true."

Allegri said he will start tomorrow with Montolivo in the middle. He played well mid week. Should allow Montolivo to advance a bit further up the field

Thank you for mentioning Seedorf, one man can't do it all himself.

Loved how he hugged players at the end. Really wears his emotions on the sleeve.

Haha true, pretty much impossible to remember every single player in Milan History. Easier to remember the dutch Milanisti as a dutch-man though
Don't ask me to name all the Brasilian Milanisti, I'll probably forget more than half of them
