Whats up with Ibra slander??

He wasnt one who managed to play worst football in europe. Parking bus against every1, lecce, cagliari, juventus......lowest amount of goals scored in decade. Goals leaking everywhere despite playing 5 in back. Zero offensive product. No ideas, nothing. Players were scared to shoot, attack. Playing wingers as strikers. Zero patterns on pitch. No threat on set pieces. No press, nothing (Allegri)

He didnt spend 300M in 2 seasons to have this shitty product also. (Furlani, Tare, Moncada).

Hes egomaniac and has faults, but hes last person to accuse of this chaos.
I can't fathom how Ibrahimovic can be defended at this point.
He literally made moves against Allegri before the last game that would secure the CL
Do you understand how stupid and self defeating this is?

No, I'm sorry. No amount of shit coaching by Max is deserving of this kind of treachery.
We aren't in the CL today as much because of iHomo, as Max and the players.
This isn't even to speak of his abject nepotism and mismanagement of our youth teams.
Nor does it speak to his absolute liability contributions during the season
(did Rafa get better after he told him to go against Allegri?)

Fuck this guy. Truly. If you think about it, Max actually got us playing in Europe again.
I won't shed a tear for Max. He made this bed as much as all these other bozo's.
But Zlatan is really a disgusting person.

Pure sheer luck. We did not deserve to be in semi final. Lets be honest here. If we were deserving to be in semi final with that squad, we would have seen clubs try to get our players. We barely see any good club linked with our players because our players are not worth it. We rate Leao so high but then we see that no big club wants him. We also rated theo but suadi clubs were the ones to get him. We have to do freaking discounts on the players cause they are simply not good enough for any big club. I doubt any top 20 clubs in eu would go for our players.
Where do I sign to win a underserved scudetto next season and play a CL semi final the year after? i’m ready for it!

I like it a lot better than these 8th and 6th place finishes and selling our best players each year because of it

I get this view but also…whether you or I like Pioli or not, he is the only semi successful period we’ve had in the last 15 years. All of the coaches, directors, owners(!), players in that time, he’s the only guy who won a thing. And got us CL regularly, which was taken for granted here obviously considering the last two seasons.

Rangnick is a smart guy so I understand wanting to get behind him. But he’s also scared off many big clubs over the years and was horrible at United. My fam likes United so I follow them closely, a lot of fans said he correctly identified the cancers in the club but otherwise he didn’t do anything. And that’s a similar environment to Milan. So I get it but I’m not gonna think “what if” over the only decent period Milan has had for two decades.

If he’s the right man for the current job, we will see. He and glasner would be interesting but they’re gonna need a lot of time. And both would probably criticize things during rough stretches that im not sure Gerry will appreciate. But we need to do something drastic, 100%
I want Ralf as a SD not as a coach.
He was a coach at Manu no?

For me and honestly I think you give min 1 season free. The second season is also sort of free as long as there is some progress. Give Ralph what he wants and he gets 5 years free for me. I don't get why big clubs don't just produce more players through the academies. All the best kids want to play for the best academies. Put money into it. For me I don't mind waiting 5 years for a first team that can actually in a UCL vs getting a team that might get to the quarters or semis in 2 years. I want a elite team to watch again so if it takes time.give it. If we got Ralph in 2019 we would be ahead of where we are now and would of been probably in a UCL final this year.

Kinda both like papaberlu said, they didn’t really platform him properly at all. Yeah he would need to be a director type role here. Too old for coaching.

So basically he wants control over everything.
This is why other big clubs have rejected him over the years. This kind of control is tough to just hand over at a club with a lot of pressure on it. Usually it has to be earned. But Milan needs to go the Arsenal route and just play the long game.

I've no issue with this. It is high time we choose a philosophy and operate under a unified vision. I trust Ralf. ManUtd was a mess from top to bottom so I would completely disregard his time there. The man has inspired so many successful coaches and he himself was inspired by our own Arrigo Sacchi among others. He pioneered Gegenpressing transforming football in Germany. What exactly are we questioning here?? He will not be the coach but his strong and coherent vision will definitely guide us. The man knows what he is doing and I hope he comes as our Head of Football.

I can see it.

Ibrahimovic is the big name celebrity super popular friend that Cardinale basically needs.
He's the only thing associated with success at this point.
Everyone remembers iBra's goals.
He's big in the USA. He speaks good english.

All of these things matter to Cardinale who understands marketing.
Cardinale isn't and can't be expected to worry too much about the inner nuts and bolts of AC Milan.
Unlike Berlusconi, AC Milan isn't his only/main sporting interest. We're one football team under the portfolio

But again, I despise ppl who behave like Zlatan.
The sabotage isn't even the worst part.
It's the absolute lack of accountability.
The inability to acknowledge that he has some share in the failureS.
Hearing about Allegri getting mad about how the summer transfers
went down actually makes me sympathize and respect him more.
And you know I have my issues with Max

And your conclusion is that Ibra made calls to Rafa and Tom and that was why we collapsed? Since when has Rafa been decisive? You mean Rafa and Tom were stellar before the infamous "Ibra phone call"? Haven't we been shit since day one and we're only scraping through matches with laboured, narrow wins of single margins? At what time/point did Ibra made the calls? November? October? This January? March?
from wot i gather he rang more players than just those 2... fofana is 1, pulisic another... Max didnt play them in last few games, he knew he lost their support... their replacements were even poorer

Maldini won't be back anytime soon, sadly.. but honestly, he doesn't deserve to work in that mess.
lol! mfers tried making Paolo buy shares in Milan so he cud later profit from selling those shares... Paolo looked at them in disgust & told them to go to the devil

I want him to be our real year zero.
He outta delegates coaching duties so he can focus on structuring the team.
Its why i wanted him years ago.
I didnt expect him to reinvent coaching but for sure laying foundation for a modern club & i was ready to sacrefice momentarily results.

Ok but if Ibra is all that then why are we linked with people like Iraola or Ralf?
Ibra should be looking for much leanier meats so he can chew as easy as he can.
We will know with the chosen names if Ibra is as evil as we think.

Yes this is true, but didn’t he have issues earlier in his career? I could be wrong but why did he never manage to capitalize on his hype years ago and land at a big club(outside the short stint at United). It’s possible his reputation has just grown but he’s also pretty old and been around for a while. I find it weird he never got that chance, and I could sworn I read he was considered several times but never landed.

On a similar note, a lot of the rich clubs are interested in the multi club model now. Chelsea and city going after it, a buddy told me Edwards at Liverpool is interested in this setup and may leave Liverpool for a club that gives it to him. Maybe Rangnick was just too far ahead of the times.

So basically he wants control over everything.

Well, let me put it this way: if you bring in Rangnick, that’s the only way forward. In that context, it doesn’t matter that he’s at the World Cup. Rangnick will have his staff in place in no time, as he has an extensive network.

He won’t do any worse than anything we’ve seen over the last three years, and it will result in a very clear hierarchy: Rangnick is the boss for all sporting matters.

Regardless of the name, it can only work in the long term this way: you bring in someone like Rangnick and hand him the keys. Will Cardinale and Ibra do that? No.

Rangnick is also consistent; he doesn’t let himself be swayed. He left Hoffenheim back then because Hopp sold Luiz Gustavo against his will during the winter transfer window.

Ragnick is a huge plus for me. We need an experienced, football-minded person leading the technical side.

Let's face it, we made countless poor decisions signing too many inadequate players to the first team....adli, pobega, musah, santi, estupinan, chuk, RLC....way too many flops.

We need someone with the ability to pinpoint players of the right profile and quality
I don't know if it is a plus. But definitely its modern.

Were kinda getting far behind in the football business.

For example, several players has said that Milanello is nice, cute and everything... but its far behind technologically from pratically every other training center in Europe.

We have to modernize the tradition too.

Absolutely.

I can't say for sure if iBra is evil. The guy has done a lot of charity work and has had a tough upbringing.
So a lot of his persona has been shaped by fighting.
His personality doesn't jive with me much. But I can't be the authority on who is good or evil. That is for god to decide.

I would be very happy if we get someone who (allegedly) knows what he's doing in terms of holistic management (Ralf)
If we get that, and a good coach, we've have made large steps towards getting somewhere close to the place we all want AC Milan

He is a very highly regarded coach in the DACH region and is not in need of money, having earned between €30 and €40 million net over the last few years.

Rangnick has a close relationship with him and always supported him as a player. However, injuries brought his career to an early end.

We were very closely linked to him years ago...

During Stefano Pioli’s rollercoaster tenure, there were constant reports about potential replacements starting as early as a few months into his first season. Back then, it looked like Ralf Rangnick would be given the keys to the project, but Pioli got the results and his arrival was kiboshed.

After the farewell of the Scudetto-winning coach was confirmed before the end of the 2023-24 season, the speculation began about who his replacement could be. Jaissle was one of the names mentioned as a potential surprise, given his impressive work with Red Bull Salzburg.

Instead, he remained the coach of Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia where he has been since 2023. He gave an interview to SportMediaset (via MilanNews) in which he also spoke about Milan’s alleged interest in him a few seasons ago, and also the talk of a potential return for Franck Kessie.

If Kessie returned to Italy or Europe, would he be ready?

“Of course, the president! He’s a top player, he did well here at Al Ahli, he’s extremely professional. If he returned to Europe, he could still play at a high level and for big clubs.”

Did Milan really try to hire you?

“How can I answer that? Let’s just say I watched a lot more AC Milan games back then and I watched the Rossoneri players very carefully! Milan is a fantastic club, and in the years that followed, it was really nice to face them in an incredible atmosphere like the one at San Siro.

“Before AC Milan vs. Salzburg, the fans were crazy and chanted ‘Pioli is on fire.’ I told Pioli that he was incredibly privileged to be able to enjoy that atmosphere every game. It was impressive.”
