Worst thing is everybody was aware of this, the guy was talking publicly about it in TV, and still our turds thought it was better to cheap out and sign Morata for 18 millions rather than spending 70 on Sesko, 50 on Zirkzee, 30 on Guirassi... That year were so many good strikers available and we had to go for the worst one.
Yeah was he not pretty open about his depression and going through some shit?

But we saw an "opportunity" lol... Fucking hell guys.

20 to 25 and he is yours.

Or Gila plus 10. Or even straight swap.

I don’t mind Gila and marusic(backup) for gimi trash plus 10 mil.

Corriere dello Sport reports that Cardinale accepts all of Rangnik's demands and Glasner will be the coach. The Cardinale/Calvelli faction has won over the Ibra objections. Zlatan will no longer have anything to do with the running of the club and no power to make decisions.

Don't know how reliable Corriere is, the story has also been picked up by MilanNews, but if true it's the best we could have hoped for to re-build with competent people.

I think the word competent people is what's important. But also football people, not Harvard yes men or openly decisive egomaniacs.

If true, hopefully this gives us some stability to build upon.

How this summer goes is anyone's guess, what with the delays and uncertainty. We're almost definitely behind every other team interns of signings, sales and other preparations... But it is what it is.

For the record, if this all comes off, Gerry isn't off the hook for the years of heartache, embarrassment and failure he had more than a hand in; but as @Samaldinho said, some silverware certainly goes towards erasing some bad memories.

Fuck Gerry, Forza Milan ❤️ 🖤 ❤️ 🖤

If Ralf/Glasner have already been chosen, why all the delays? WC is starting today.

Based on RB's record, I'm waiting for another twist.

I still refuse to believe RB will make correct and logical decisions.

Even Moretto is clueless

They're doing half of the interviews remotely and evaluating the profile internally. With Pochettino, they've spoken more than once in these past few weeks, but then they disappeared. Same with Planes. Same with Glasner—he did one and is waiting… and anyway, right now he's in pole position. We need to contextualize and understand the club's modus operandi.

I get the impression moretto used to gather his news from furlani. Now the weasel has gone, moretto comes across as a clueless hater. Even that punk bitch ass longo is more reliable than him

"We go live to Milan HQ as Captain Cardinale presents Milan's new Director and Coach to the gathering masses"

As this is a sensitive subject I would like to clarify that in no way shape or form am I likening us to the Nazis, or supporting anything that they did

However we do need some modern and forward thinking European football principles applied to Calcio, starting from youth development

“Morata shock: ‘I arrived at AC Milan under the influence of medication, without really knowing what I was doing.’”
We could tell that from his performances

I can't wait to move on to transfer rumors and news and put all this management stuff behind. By competent people I mean in their fields which in this case is football.

Calvelli, who has a ton of rsponsibility within the RedBird universe doesn't even want the job formally held by Furlani which is evidence that he doesn't care about being in the spotlight. They will have someone in charge of finances with no involvement in the sporting side and a CEO that has some knowledge in both.

At least that's the scenario that i hope to see while in my days I had no idea who was in charge of finances, PR, medical. I knew the people that ran the mercato, the coach, and the players on the pitch.

I just googled Captain America with German superheroes, and that came up.

Nazis bad, Jewish babies killers bad, invading Americans bad, British colonisation bad, African dictators bad, Gerry Cardinale bad, racists bad, England football team bad...

A modern, forward thinking, organised and in sync club would be nice.

So Juve thinks about firing Comolli. Speaking of timing, I wonder if the media will pick this up like "how can you prepare an entire season and then all of a sudden have doubts about his work, let alone fire the one responsible for it mid-June and restart from scratch?"

And here I thought they were about to sign Kessie, Diaz, Sorloth, Maignan and so forth...

Nah let's focus on Milan first.

Jaime #Vardy: "How is Italian football compared to English? It's much slower, more defensive. Training is constant: run, run, run. Then you go into a match and, literally, you have nothing left to give. It's not nice when you're 38, 39 years old, right? But not just for me. That's how it works here. And the sporting director has a say in everything, it's crazy." Via @Gazzetta_it

Quick question.

Which country has most recently won a major tournament.

a. France b. England c. Germany d. Italy
