Surprised no Serie A clubs picked him up that Venezia sold him to Sporting. Hopefully a part of Mancini's roster for Italy..

Out of the top 6 teams, Roma - Juventus - Inter - Atalanta - Napoli - Como. We have the weakest squad tbh, unless we get 3 more starters, which i think wont happening as long as we dont sell Leao and other mediocre first
Como's squad is comprised out of hot and cold young prospects, and a coach that harnesses them into a preforming group. Exactly who can you name from their squad other than Baturina and Paz? A 30-player squad BTW

Atalanta? Absolute banter team with a Sarri who hasn't had a hit in over a decade. CDK as your attacking threat and Ederson who they tried to ship out all summer not moving due to medical issues. They're a top 5 squad on a great year.

Juventus, every summer here I hear the same thing about their potential in the squad, and every year they fumble results.

A good coach could create marvels out of a Gila-Pavlo duo, salad at the wings, Rabiot-Modric midfielder holders duo (Allegri did until February and we were in scudetto place), Jashari, a motivated Puli/Nkunku, and Ramos as a #9.

Unfortunately, we have neither this or a competent management that sets a stable course and project.

Guy is auditing players to see who posted about it. Now thats gay.
These mfers needs to be put in ccp’s stringent social credit rating mechanism from 2035. A man can’t even still idle and not post on social media about all the shit in this world

Probably one of the worst mercatos of the last couple of years so far
Why? I think this is exactly what we've been needing for a while. Quality over quantity. The two biggest needs coming out of the season were a CB and CF. So the very first moves we made this summer were exactly on those needs. We can argue on whether or not the amounts spent were appropriate. But that's besides the point. In years past we would have signed 6/7 players by now with that money. But the argument was always, "is our starting 11 actually better".

So if all we had before sales was 100m...then I'm glad we spent it on 2 players that we know 100% will improve our starting 11. There is always going to be arm-chair sporting directors in here that will claim player X shpuld have been signed instead of player Y. We spent too much on someone they didn't like and we got scammed. We shpuld have gone after the new shiny toy. Blah blah.

We'll see how we fare the rest of the summer and we can judge at the end. But this summer is different than others from a volume perspective. And I personally think it's the right way....to sign quality over quantity. Whether or not the signings work out, we'll see...

Everyone seems to forget that this squad, despite Allegri's clown show, had us in 2nd place and a legit chance at the title until the end of February. What happened after that had nothing to do with the quality of the squad.
The squad should be improved, yes. And I agree we probably need 3 more players to make Amprim's ideas work. But I wouldn't say this squad, as is currently, is weaker than all those you named.

Yesss please.

If we get Spanish striker the passing will be exquisite from Diaz
Ok, but what this hype about him, his passing and decision making have slightly improved, still loosing physical duels , Soulè is waaaayy more efficient than him.

Possibly they don’t meet the capacity to hold a major tournament? Not sure. Same with Como and Venezia, they’re modernizing but the capacity will remain small. Lecce’s stadium project should be done before the season starts. They’re putting in a roof.

My guess the five will be Juventus stadium, new Roma stadium, new Milan/Inter stadium, modernized Napoli stadium and one of the modernized Fiorentina/new Cagliari/ new Palermo.
Lecce want to modernize their stadium, are they intend to remove the track? what about Palermo-Napoli-Cagliari project , Fiorentina didn't make a stall on it ?

theres no obligation and no one should be pressured to make some social media post about it. what a dumb reason to criticize someone and tasteless attempt to create drama during a time for mourning.
100%. It's so dumb that we live in an age where a stupid social media post is how these "reporters" judge whether someone was affected by the situation. "OH no, you didn't post anything, so you must not care". The whole posting thing is so plastic anyway. How does he even know if Ibra (or plenty of others that didn't post or say anything publicly) didn't directly send condolences to the family?

It's genuinely sad, where this world is heading...

They should shorten the mercato by a month, only july. Everyone is waiting till the last week/days of the Mercato to get deals done.
That would also mean everyone starts the season with a ‘complete squad’, no more transfers when the season has already started.
I’d even make it 2 weeks.

You Got all year, or at least the last 2-3 months of the season to identify your needs. Set them in that period…then you get 2 weeks to pull the trigger.

From late September 2025 to today, Brahim #Diaz has played just 506 minutes in La Liga, with only 3 starts. With Álvaro #Arbeloa on the bench and the possible acquisition of the young Ivorian #Diomande from Leipzig, his playing time could shrink even further. Ambidextrous, technical, and capable of playing behind the striker, Brahim is out of contract in 2027 and Real Madrid considers him expendable, this time even on a permanent basis. For #Milan, he could represent an opportunity at sustainable costs: his salary, around 4 million, would fit within the Rossoneri's parameters and, among the clubs to which he's been offered, the player wouldn't hesitate to prefer a return to Milan. But the real news is another: Brahim appeals to coach #Amorim. We'll see if this will be enough to facilitate his return in Rossoneri colors.

That's you in the signature pic right? The first one behind Dida?

Oh, I wish!! It's just a group of fans posing in front of a statue of singer Domenico Modugno (who had a big hit here in the US with "Volare" in 1958), from when Dida and another old-school Milan player, Pietro Vierchowod, visited Bari for a charity event three months ago; I just thought the picture was oddly cute. But a girl can dream, right?? :D

Perhaps this could be the spark that ignores some modernization of the facilities within Italy, while a plan to fix the other problems Italian football is facing is bright into action?

If this isn't seen as a kick in the arse for Italian football, and an opportunity, then the country is fucked on a footballing level.
Atalanta Bergame didn't meet UEFA standard of 30K seats, they just have 24K weirdo.

Agreed; don't go making mountains out of molehills. Dozens have already paid their respects so who really cares about one particular individual?

Exactly. And how do we even know if that individual didn't pay respects in other ways? Is a social media post the only acceptable way to show that you care this days?

It's also those Brazilian genes. Seedorf also regularly hung out with the Brazilians @ Milan and their magic rubbed off on him.

Brahim is a bum and if he were actually any good, he would have played more than 506 minutes last season, simple as that.
This is just Real Madrid ditching all its unnecessary players to whoever bites

Nice note from Madrid

Real Madrid C. F., its president, and its Board of Directors deeply regret the passing of Franco Baresi, one of the greatest legends of AC Milan, Italian football, and world football.

Real Madrid wishes to express its condolences and affection to his family and loved ones, his teammates, and AC Milan, the club of his life.
