It looks like we're moving away from massive changes needed to fine as we are because of our difficulties in the transfer market but the weaknesses that kept us out of Europe remain. Maybe not a huge overhaul like many expected but 3/4 pieces are surely needed to improve our chances in addition to the youngsters that I hope will excel.
To suddenly rely on Estupinan, Athekame, Musah, Chukuweze, Fofana, RLC, Ricci, Gimenez, even Leao to improve our standings is a recipe for disaster when you see the moves that some of our opponents are making.
Amorim will have to be an amazing magician if we're able to reach our objective with what we have at our disposal right now.
In his press conference he said: "I'm really happy with the squad tha we have, we're building our idea on how we want to play. We also have an idea for the transfer market, at times it's realized and at times it's not.
Amorim is proving to be a good PR man, an optimist, but his last phrase to me is a hint that we need to do more to be competitive, It's realized as regard to Ramos and Gila but more work needs to be done is how I interprete it.
