Maybe if he had been up in his 90s it might've hurt somewhat less. But he was only eight years older than Paolo.
Agree - 66 is not that old these days

They always start good when they come, like Walker and many others.
Then we introduce them to Milan way and they become shit
Exactly. Chuckweaze looked lightning quick in La liga but then when he came to Serie a ,which is considered a slow league by dumb epl fans, Chuck got his rear end handed to him.

RLC wasn´t bad imo, had a few impressive moments even. Not that he should necessarily start for us but the RAM position isn´t a bad fit for him at all.
While I wouldn´t give too much about them, even all ratings I have seen so far, gave him either a 6 or 6,5, Sempremilan even has him as MOTM.
Yeah, he did well today. I also saw the high ratings in many media outlets. After 2 years of being a ghost, still wouldn’t trust him.

Sempre Milan be drunk:

Loftus-Cheek (7.5 – MOTM): Wonderful performance from the Englishman, it has to be said. He should have had an assist, doing everything right to set up Musah, and he created more chances on his own. Smart passing and movement were two more things he showcased as well.

I've never seen anything other than an average player. He isn't efficient, effective, assertive, clever, creative, athletic... Anything that warrants 4+ million a year and the amount of minutes he's racked up.

Even as a back up I'd rather give a youngster more minutes.

Maybe his stats are good, but the eye test... Fuck he's an actual idiot!!!

Runs into holes rather than space, makes poor decisions when it's time to release the ball, gets manhandled way to easily, and is a ghost for large parts of games.

Why he's still here is beyond me... I can only think Milan don't want to cut their losses and take a low offer, because "accounting scudetto"?
Ruben Loftus-Cheek manifested a display of such commanding midfield sovereignty that conventional superlatives became linguistically insufficient, his synthesis of physical domination, spatial cognition, and technical expertise rendering the opposition structurally subordinate throughout the encounter.

Christopher Nkunku exhibited an almost paradoxical amalgamation of unpredictability and calculated manipulation, repeatedly inducing structural instability within opposing defences through such refined deception that the attainment of penalties appeared less a matter of fortune than an inevitable consequence of his cerebral offensive architecture.

He is too negative in his play - just happy to win a free kick like he knows that is a plus for analytics. - He is probably the slowest to make a decision, even worse than Musah and is too happy to go backwards or wait for the bail out from the ref.

He is the epitome of not playing to win - Origi time for him if they cant find some dumb EPL team to loan him to.
Turning up for 1-2 matches per season like Bennacer is not good enough.
Right now we have a potentially washed Pulisic and Nkunku as alternatives for the RAM spot. He is not creative enough but as a reserve he is far better than Origi and also better than potential starters like Fofana and Tomori in their positions. If someone gives us money for him fine, but otherwise definitely use his last year of his contract.

Loftus-Cheek is a player we know very well by now. One preseason match isn't going to change our opinion of him. He's a good player when he's physically fit, but the problem is that he only seems to be fit for one match every three months. Otherwise, Chelsea would never have sold him to us.
Nkunku isn't a winger who can consistently make the difference. He's more of a second striker who excels at combining in tight spaces and being dangerous inside the penalty area, just like he was at Leipzig. The problem is that we don't play with two strikers, so he risks becoming ineffective in our system. We'd be better off selling him and reinvesting the money in a real winger.

Estupinan needed an evaluation LOL.

CHUKWUEZE impresses Amorim in training LOL.

2/3 of our squad is garbage.

If you include management, ownership, and milan lab, then it's 2.5/3.

Yet he is much better than Nkunku, and probably better than Pulisic too. He is a fucking clown and needs to fuck off, but Nkunku needs to leave first.
We should sell whoever get a suitor, ideally all of them.
Leao more than the rest simply because he is a pure winger so its more likely that Nkunku & Puli will play better as SS/AM.

You are acting like we flip a switch.

Other than the few like AI, you practice how you play.
Inter wasn't at pace but easily breezing by us but the new CF didn't look like he was below water like the rest of the team.

Obviously we will see if that translates once competitive matches start and if service doesn't reach him then productivity won't be there.

Everybody will get jaded as long as the bad influence isn't removed from the dressing room
First counter with both on the pitch today and Ramos is seen waving his compatriot forward to join in and make the attack viable :proud:

The way things are going, I think we can hope for 1-2 new players at best, maybe 3 (and we may just end up with "fine as we are"). Not sure if we can count on sales (difficult to get rid of fodder with a high salary, even if we had a competent management team). Of course I hope for more, but unfortunately we are stuck with Gerry.

Given these (likely) constraints, what should be our #1, #2, and #3 priority?

Yea I have seen this movie many times in the past. Only to fizzle out badly.

So I would keep expectations extremely low tbh.

He is at best a super sub

I hope to be proven wrong but I doubt it cause I am hardly ever wrong.

Let’s get the scudetto then we can talk about his 74 mil price tag.

The men with whom Franco Baresi made history are now carrying his casket.

Van Basten. Donadoni. Albertini. Ambrosini. Costacurta.

Teammates to the end.

Ciao, Capitano.

You small, little man, first of all: watch where you step; your smelly peies are hanging down the floor. Second of all: you're even too dumb to understand that the quote you're using means nothing, since your views are completely wrong to begin with. The humor lies in the actual truth that what you’re trying to put forward as a fact is viewed by literally everyone else as an unfounded opinion. Does your self-proclaimed genius mind see something the rest of the world doesn't? No, you're just a pathetic figure that thinks a certain level of coolness can be achieved on this forum by being controversial. Even at Inter, Maldini is one of the only milanista who is highly respected. And yet you keep clinging pathetically to your delusion simply because your fragile ego can't take a single blow. Anyway, we all know that there are several hooligans roaming around Jerusalem these days who love to bend the truth for their own benefit. Talk about déjà vu.

Fiorentina have brought in both alex Jiménez and Joao Mario at right-back, which strongly suggests they're willing to let Dodo go. We should be all over that opportunity. He can also fill in at left-back when needed. We desperately need top-quality players in the full-back positions.

Completely different style as you say. Now RLC actually has a position with the RAM spot while Fofana is back in a mid of 2. Imo Fofana was the most disappointing player last season when it comes to the hopes for him in that set up. Before that there was a solid argument that he was overburdened in the double pivot, but playing in a mid of 3 imo exposed his weaknesses much more and it always felt like he was pulling half the weight compared to Modric and especially Rabiot.
