I understand it's tempting to paint Furlani as a holistically incompetent, power-hungry midget who ruined everything he touched in this club
In reality, he appointed Tare only a month before the purchase of Nkunku. Furlani approved a 35m Jashari, and Tare wanted to sink the blow on another 40m purchase of Nkunku, including significantly high wages.
Furlani could've vetoed it, but opted not to since, I don't know, Tare was the acting SD of the club which comes with responsibilities (for positive results) and repercussions (for bad ones). After two years of 'consortiums', management opted for a classic structure of an SD. So, whatever the SD wants, management will approve, especially as Tare proved himself to be a good seller- important metric when you take high risk high rewards purchases.
What's more probable, Furlani wanting 80m long-term purchases in a week, or simply backing Tare for his decisions? Is this really what a finance guy would go for?
The 'financial angle' was stupid, evidently so as we see now, it was about not cucking on hindering your SD's decisions.
Guy can't win anything with this fanbase.
