Was watching Newcastle vs Liverpool, and Jaissle seems like a young Allegri. Lol

Anyway, at least I watched some football. Because I turned on Frosinone Juve in the 40th minute and watched the rest of the half (about 9 minutes)......and I don't think I saw ANY football being played. To give you an idea, there was a throw-in for Juve that took 35 seconds to take. It's insane. What's the point of counting down 8 seconds when a GK had the ball, if you're gonna allow a team to take 35 seconds for a throwin??? There was also a weak ass foul right before that throwin, and one right after that as well that took a very long time to get restarted. There were also 2 occasions where players were laying and rolling around which took out another minute and a half or so.
So in 9 minutes that I haf that game on, between the ball being out of play, stop-start nature of the game, plus shit play acting....there was maybe 4-5 minutes of active play (and not much to see in it anyway). As a 35 year fan of Italian football...it hurts to talk about this year after year. They need to get on with the times and clean this shit up.
Of course, they won't. And we'll be here in a year talking about it while Serie A sinks deeper in oblivion.

I think we have to hope for a 10 (RAM) and a CB.

If we filled both positions with players of similar quality to Gila, Ramos, and Moreira, then we would have a much more solid starting XI.

Anyway, the squad Furlani and Moncada put together was soooooo bad that it will take a couple of years to properly rebuild.

My hope is Amorim has learned from his mistakes and is able to overachieve with a top 4 finish this season, then we can build from there.

Last season our biggest weaknesses were - lack of a ST, shit fullbacks and lack of a solid CB.

We could fix this with the new signings that just arrived.

Among the changes related to speeding up the game, like no more than 5 seconds for a keeper to get rid of the ball punished by giving up a corner kick, and moving quicker off the pictch when subbed, an important one is about VAR.

They will intervene less often, and only if it's a clear error by the referee. I think it will create more drama and complaints on penalties with wrong decisions allowed to stand. I hope we won't be victims of the new rule but it will probably benefit Inter in this Marotta League.
