menez? seriously?

Taarabt was our best player last season and he was there only for half a season. It will be a crime to let him go, absolute crime.

Menez is a crybaby, a diver, and inconsistent as fuck. It can be considered a good move by us if we are now officially a mid-table table - which is what we are - but if any of you have ambitions of returning to the top - menez is definitely not the person. He's also not worth the 3m wages whatsoever.

Milan are going backwards and backwards. No plan, no ambition, nada. Fuck the management. Can't believe we didn't go for Sogliano. Fuckin Galliani. And now pippo wants to bring back his apprentice Paloschi who is going to be even worse than Matri.

God help this club.

Both Menez and Taarabt are equally mediocre, the love fest for the later here is absolutely moronic.

Menez stats: http://www.espnfc.com/player/85493/jeremy-menez?season=2013

Taarabt stats : http://www.espnfc.com/player/87623/adel-taarabt

Wow Taarabt is such a beast in comparison.

Menez's first season under carlo was amazing, he had racked up more assists and goals than taarabt ever did in a single season time frame. In saying that, i would like us to sign both and instead get rid of kaka, robson and pretty much any player who doesnt fit our system. I am assuming we will be playing a 4 3 3 / 4 2 3 1 formation next season or hell maybe even a 4 4 2, so we need wingers. Menez is a beast, he is genius with the ball, his only flaw is his attitude but i think a return back to serie a would bode well for him. He can potentially have a gervinho esque performance here next season if not better cause he is a perfect fit for the winger-oriented system we are planning to implement. He is 2 times better than taarabt and on top of all, he is free.

use your eyes. you saw yourself how well taarabt did. Taarabt played for qpr, newcastle and a pathetic milan. menez played for roma (well equipped one) and PSG. stats don't tell you the full story. taarabt with us was a fuckin beast. he destroyed opponents, all he needs is a good team and he will do well. he outshone all of our players since he joined, he definitely deserves a chance to stay.

menez on the other hand... :fp:

We went for Sogliani but he wouldnt come with G here.
Taarabt wasnt our best player ,he got 4 goals in 16 games which is good ,but 0 assists for a winger is not good.Hes flashy but his tricks and dribbles (while looking great) mostly lead nowhere.Menez for free is a good signing ,quick great skill but passing not so much.Ideally id like Taarabt & Menez here with Binho Birsa out hope it happens.

Taarabt doesnt have a great end product not at QPR terrible at Fulham never played for Newcastle. Here he was okay-good but not great but ofcourse he could get better ,hes very inconsistent.Id like both tbh ,its not like we'll sign top quality players. These two are better than Binho Birsa

If kaka's shots which hit the bar and posts went in, he would have 14 goals and 9 assists in 37 gamee instead of the 9 goals and 8 assists he contributed this season

Wrong. Niang got fucked when we got Balo.
I am not saying that Balo is the problem but Niang changed his mentality after Balo came. Also, at first it looked klike he had a great 1-2 combination but the more he played under Allegri, his work rate started to increase but his skills as a forward became below rudimentary.
Right now, Niang has a screw loose and probably will be more of a headache for the team.
Well, I don't think like that. Niang played good alongside Balo, I would say he worked with Balo better that ElSha. After all, he played constantly with Balo after he came. On the other hand with change of system to 4-3-1-2 he suposed to be fourth choice and didn't play much. During period when he played only thing he seriously lacked is goals. But, in general I liked his play. If he had been given trust instead of Matri...

Taarabt is a cunt that's why he played for shitty teams cause nobody wants him in the team, he has shit work ethic. Like people mentioned here the only thing he has going on fro him is dribbling, his end product is absolutely shit in regards to passing and finishing.

This guy career won't go anywhere(you can save this post), and for a team that wants to challenge for the title or a CL place having this guy on the first team sheet is a major downside.

Regarding Menez it is ridicolous how some people forget to look at the money.

Menez for 10M + high wage = bad signing
Menez for free and mid wage = good signing

Menez has what Milan needs. Speed. It was sad to see how static we became when El shaarawy got injured. In recent years we have had way to many static players like Balotelli, Aquilani, Seedorf, Honda and Kaka. This is why players like Nocerino and Taarabt could shine and look WC in comparison.

He does but if you use your eyes and analyze every game he had you will see he being the same every game.
First of all, Taarabt is a winger and not an AM. Second, in all the games that he played as starter many people were happy/ecstatic because Taarabt keep passing/nutmegging players and always forgot his shortcomings that never changed even of he tried to prove himself (which he did after his 4th-5th game with us). For example, many fans were happy when Taarabt nutmeg Pirlo but what about the failed nutmeg on Tevez that almost cost us a goal; what about the 2/3 failed dribbles where he lost the ball which created chances for Fiorentina but the MOtM couldn;t convert (just imagine what if Gomez or Rossi were healthy); same thing in the game against Livorno or even against Merda where mostly kept losing the ball beacuse he tried to pass 2-4 players on his own most of the time instead of relying on his teammates

Again, I think Taarabt deserves to stay but he needs to correct his obsession of playing on his own. He has the skills but he is too much of a soloist which it is something that It looks that it will never change. Kind of similar to Menez but at least Menez does not dribble next to his own box.

I see him best suited as SS, Cassano like. I'm glad many of you here noticed that his numtegs, fancy driblings, and things like that lead nowhere, and yet some people see him as a AM :fp:. His driblings would be usefull in front of goal if he learns to pass after he get rid of player or shoot. Point is that still has to improve, and I doubt he is the caracter that would accept critics in right way. But for the price rumored I would like him to stay and try him next year.

Our attack was really fast with elsha and niang, with kaka, birsa, honda it was very slow. So, Menez is what we need.

Best option is to wait and see, but on paper looks decent.
But let's wait and see. Ibra and Pato suposed to be great partnership, but it didn't happen.
