I would love it if we sign Iturbe. With him and El Shaarawy we'll have pace & skill that can decide matches. From what I've seen of Iturbe it seems he's always looking for ways to create and that is something that we need. Menez and Saponara as back ups will suffice in year without European fixtures.

At the moment I'm more intrested in the ideas they have to strengthen the midfield and the LB position. We need at least three new players, maybe even four if Abate is sold. The goalkeeper situation is not ideal either, but I doubt we'll acquire a new one.

Serious note. Not sure what the issue would be with Cerci for 15M + some spending on the midfield instead of everything in the Turbo pot. Issue is age I suppose, but proven over multiple years in Serie A AND isn't that what we need more than anything?

Cerci did have 13 goals and 10 assists last year in Serie A.

Problem is that he will be 27 years old.

I definitely think Iturbe could/will likely be better long-term, but right now Cerci is the guy that's going to bring the fucking heat straight away.

What is it that Milan needs the most really? IMO, the goal needs to be to get into the CL ASAP. Cerci probably helps with that a lot sooner than Iturbe.

Just throwing out alternatives is all.

I don't think we are in it for Iturbe at this point.
